Boycott Title

EBAY DOES NOT OFFER BUYER PROTECTION!!

Boycott Description

Until Ebay actually enforces their so called BUYER PROTECTION I think everyone should consider NOT using Ebay for ANY purchases.  I purchased two items, paid for two items, and two items were sent to me in a manner in which they could NOT be reicieved.  Since the post office made an attempt to deliver the seller was NOT made to give a refund.  BAD POLICY to let people STEAL money from consumers.  I called customer service first hand and they told me I was out of my money, their decision is final and they will NOT be making the seller refund my hard earned money.

Boycott Demands

BUYER PROTECTION MUST BE ENFORCED! Prove you have it, show me cases where justice was brought to the buyer, get me my money back or suspend that thief that stole it.  DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU GOOD FOLKS!  Join my boycott.  Use UBID or any other online option until this problem is solved.  If you join my boycott I will join yours!

You must be an employee of eBay. If you searched the Internet about eBay all you'll find our complaints about service lack of customer service in their poor policies and how they failed to address the needs and issues of its customers. I too have been using eBay for many years. And it has changed dramatically over those years. There is no such thing as customer service with eBay anymore. You can't speak with a live person. When you send them a complaint about not receiving an item each time you send it they say wait a few more days or contact the seller. There is no way to message directly to eBay. Consequently if you are an eBay buyer who has not received the item they paid for and tried to use the resolution Center, you're screwed. You might as well kiss that money goodbye because eBay customer service/resolution Center is useless.

If you're still on ebay, be very wary of them and then some. I recently ordered a logitech 2 in one PC speaker that was used and in bad shape. They made me fight very hard to have it returned. Finally ebay said I can send it back and promised a full refund. After the item was returned to the seller, ebay reneged on the promise.

I had to fight really hard to get my refund. It was a total turnoff and nightmare. Total scam. (You can't imgaine what I had to go thru)

My advice to everyone, avoid ebay like the devil. Period.
You won't know the problems they can give you have until you have to get a refund.

Try other alternatives (e.g.,craiglist.com) but avoid ebay and Pay pal.

good luck

Where's Buyer Protection? - 9/30/10 6:38 PM

Where's Buyer Protection?

I won an item on auction. I paid for it through Pay Pal. Went to see the status and the seller is kicked out of ebay. The buyer protection program directs me to contact the seller first. That's impossible the seller is gone. There is no other way to get to customer service. $78 down the drain.

Well for one im not saying that there isnt a few problems here and there with any buisness, but myself Ive been a seller/buyer on ebay for 20+ yeras as well as have a busness acct with paypal just as long!! And i have never had any problems as far as ebay or paypal responding in a postive manner! Yes I have had problems as a buyer, and I have had problems as a seller, but all problems were handled and corrected in a postive manner! The most problems Ive had is with other countries buyers trying to scam me or get stuff free so to correct that I just stopped selling out USA. Other than that thats only problems Ive had in 20+ years!!!! Now I just had a problem this morning a buyer wanted to cancel after he told me item was shipped he gave no reason why he wanted to cancel! So I didnt answer his mailunpurpose because after being with these compnays so long I knew he was going to open a case to try force me close case on my end! I responded no I will not let him cancel as a seller like I am he is obligated to send my product. He had plenty time to cancel before he accepted payment he did not so now he has to stand by his agreement and ship product if not he wil have marks placed against his acct not only by feedback, but also by corporate. So ebay left the case open sent him my message, and responded with thier own message telling him that he can not cancel he has to stand by our agreement seeing how he has already stated in previous email that item had been shipped!

Now for the person here who agreed to close the case that was your mistake right there! You never agree to closing a case once it is open as long as that case is open you have ebay in the middle. He knew once you closed that case you didnt have him any longer! He scamed you had you trust him thats a big big no no I dont care how good rep the buyer has you never close the case until you are satisfied!!

Ebay Protection?

I just posted a comment about how unhappy I am about the ebay"protection". I cannot believe that  I have been bying for so long without knowing that there is not protection at all. I was sold a fake Tiffany bracelet. I reported that and talked to Customer Serice 2. The 2nd time they told me that I would get my money back. Almost 4 weeks after that I am still waiting to hear from them. ALso, the phone number that they gave me for Customer Service has been disconnected and there is no way to talk to a representative. I click in every single box that offeres you help with a representative and you get nothing. I feel so ripped off!!!!! Unfortunately I can see that I am not the only one. What can we do?

ebay should be out of business

im having a problem with my so-called refund. the item i purchased was not as described, and i opened a case because seller hadnt responded to my emails in 5 days. upon opening the case, i was contacted by the seller, who promised to correct the problem, however insisted i close the case immediately. he gave me his email, and phone number, and so i closed the case. havent heard from the guy since, so i tried to contact ebay customer support, spent hours going in circles from one page to another, then back to where i started, over and over and over, <do they do this on purpose>, finally i talk to something with a heartbeat, and am told that they can refund $150 of the $250 problem, and being aggravated by the whole ordeal, accepted the offer, for fear of not getting anything, and of course, 5 weeks later, still havent received a nickel, so yes, i will be joining your boycott, and will talk to all my friends and family about my experience.
