Boycott of Verizon Wireless

I filed a complaint againt Verizon with the better business bureau today. last year in Jan I became a customer with Verizon. in Sept of last year my phone stopped working (was suppose to be NEW when I got it). I spent a FULL day calling the store (where I purchased my phone and service) and leaving messges. to this day I NEVER received a call back. the next day I cancelled my contract and got new svcs with AT&T. now to find out that Verizon placed this on my credit. I was without a phone and service for more than 24 hours and that is UNACCEPTABLE.  I think more people should file the complaints with the better business bureau.  I'm awaiting an answer on my complaint. I was asked on my form what I wanted the outcome to be.  my response was to get VZ off of my credit. 

You can get the fee waived but probably not after the fact.

The laws are such that you have to file muliple complaints for poor service.  I don't know the number,  I just know I filed a LOT including sending copies to FCC.

I was given a special notice on my account that I could leave at any time with no prepayment penalty.  But I have to add that this was with good reason, not just because I changed my mind
