turbotax card "pre-authorized" money now wont give it back

Boycott Description

On march 7th I took a taxi from my house to a medical appointment. I gave the cab driver my turbo-tax credit card to pay for the ride. The total was 13.00. He swiped it, and then I realized I had some cash. I said never mind, and he cancelled the credit card. Later my family and I go out to eat at a VERY EXPENSIVE resaraunt, and the card is DECLINED. Guess what, there is a "hold" from puget sound dispatch. I call turbo tax, they say there is a 60 day hold from puget sound dispatch, and I can contact them or wait 60 days to get my money back. So I am now waiting to get money back I DIDNT EVEN SPEND. So I call puget sound dispatch, and they say there was a hold but it WAS for 130.00, and it WAS TAKEN OFF LAST WEEK! So not only are they "pre-authorizing" my card for money I didn't spend, they are charging more than I actually spent if I had actually used my card. Where is the extra 26.00 coming from? Why is it yellow cab has already dismissed the hold and I cant have my money back? Yellow cab told me they NEVER EVEN CHARGED my card to begin with. They ran it, but cancelled it IMMEDIATELY afterward. So turbotax is using this occasion to use my money and make money on it before they give it back. IF THEY EVER DO GIVE IT BACK! I still have not received any funds, and have written an email every day to this company requesting my money back, and still no answer. I say boycott these guys so they go bankrupt and cant do this to ANYONE else, because to me it seems like they have no one to answer to.

Boycott Demands

I want my money back. Not only that I want to be re-imbursed for all the things that I have had to buy in the absence of these funds. I want the 156.00$ returned, and an additonal 156.00$ for TAKING my families money, USING my families money, NOT ASKING PERMISSION to USE my familes money, STEALING, or THEFT of my families money. It does not matter if you give it back at this point, because you already stole it. At this point you should return it, and HEAVILY compensate us for the pain and suffering, AND EMBARASSMENT. We went to a restaraunt and had a VERY expensive meal, a 160.00$ meal to be precise. Can you guess what happened at the end of this 160.00$ meal? WE DIDNT HAVE MONEY TO PAY FOR IT! Why didnt we have money? BECAUSE YOU PREAUTHORIZED IT AKA YOU STOLE OUR MONEY. We were EXTREMELY embarassed, and had to beg and plead for the manager to let us go without pressing charges, and allowing us to pay it back the money at a later date. So as I said you should pay back the 156.00$, plus an additonal 156.00 for the embarassment of not being able to pay for dinner at a fine dining restaraunt.
