Insufferably Poor Attitude

Boycott Description

Davis True Value in Springerville, AZ.

The owner and her mother both acted in the most unseamily hostile and obnoxious manner to 4 of their customers, including myself.

Specifics:

a) Customer asks: What is the price for this product X.

Elderly woman behind the counter: Did'nt you check the price - it's right on there. (stated in a impetious and antagonistic manner)

Customer: No, that's why I asked for the price.

Elderly woman behind the counter: Well it's right there for you to see.

b) Owner of store gave me a receipt but i did not know if she wanted me to sign it.

Me: Should I sign this copy?

Owner: Can you let me finish doing one thing at a time (stated in a very antagonistic manner)

Me: I just wanted to know if I should sign this copy - I'm not the enemy here.

Owner: Well maybe its your tone! (again stated in a very antagonistic manner)

- then she says to the older lady in the store while i am signing the credit card copy - "I just wanted to close up early today and get rid of all these customers"

Me: You could use some customer service here.

Owner: Oh just get out - get out!

Well - this is only two of the situations. I later spoke to the poor man who was rudely addressed by the older lady in the store and we both agreed to never shop this store again and make sure others were aware of how poorly this group treats its customers.

 

 

Boycott Demands

I will continue this boycott until the majority of people in the area and those who vocation in Springville from both  Pheonix and Tucson know not to shop at this store and instead chose Woodlands - the other hardware/lumber store in Springerville, who's staff have ALWAYS (Over 18 years) been cordial, increadibly helpful and never treated their customers as if they were detesful of them.

Hopefully enough people will read this and chose to take their business elsewhere - and may the chips lay where they fall for the success or failure of Davis True Value of Springerville.
