Boycott Description

Big companies continue to rip off their own consumers, if we do not stand up for ourselves and hit them where it hurts (their wallets) then they will continue to do it.  Im fed up and I KNOW a lot of other people are too. The best way to get back is to get the word out there at how they treat their own customers.

Boycott Demands

Reasonable charges along with COMPLETE descriptions of charges before they send you a bill.  That way you can make informed decisions about purchases and decide if it is in your budget..

I HATE TMOBILE

I HATE TMOBILE. they will not update my sim card untill they talk to my dad, one problem, he owns a resteraunt and works 5am-11pm. and the line isnt open in those hours so now i have to sit here with a fricken 1000000 dollar phone and  not be able to use it untill me dads next day off wich is like christmas of next year. I wanted to change carriers with my mom but they charge more then the phone itself to terminate the account!!!! also i pay FULL insurance 80 a month! and when my phone was dropped in water they charged me 185 dollars for a replacement, THATS NOT EVEN ACTIVATED. Weve been on tmobile for 12 years and this is how customers get treated.

10 years as a customer

And they don't give a rats ass.

I have 3 lines on my family plan and pay 189.00 per month.

They are charging $320.00 for a damaged phone that was insured and I returned but they claim they never received.  So now I have to pay the non return fee.

Also, a phone on one of the other lines was stolen and it will cost me 200.00 to replace it because it was not insured.

I can't leave because there is an early termination fee of 200.00 per line (600.00 total).

I feel like I am being raped by this company.

This is what I get for ten years of never making a late payment.

T-Mobie, you are the worst and I hope you go bankrupt.

A very disgruntled customer.

I've been a victim of tmobile poor customer service and lack of resourceful reps.I've filed complaints with the better buisness burea, public utility commission, state attorneys office and the office of consumer protection affairs.I still feel that that's not enough for the injustice I've suffered.

T-Mobile Blows - 3/12/12 4:11 PM

T-Mobile Blows

I got a call to recieve a free phone if I did a new 2 year contract I said yes. Instead they mailed me a whole new line (now my bill is double). I told them I just wanted my one free phone and thats why I signed a new contract (I was out of contract)

I had to treck out to UPS and mail the phone back. Track the phone and call them to verify receipt. They mailed me another phone but the rebate was less leaving me with a $50 hole.  I complained and the customer service manager refused to credit my account $50, said she had the power to but wouldn't because there was a $38 credit for the $38 activation fee that wasn't supposed to be there in the firstplace!!

Meanwhile each rep it typing notes to cover their own asses such as "buyer's remorse" because they gave me a phone I didn't want ect.  She switches me to the telesales dept and their sales manager says he can get me a free phone.  As soon as she hangs up (3way) he says he can't get me a free phone. Then starts the process of sending me yet another (count em, 3) phone to try to make it free. He must have realized later in the conversation that if it's an upgrade the system will charge $50 but if it's a new order it's free.

I ask him if I eat the $50 if I can just take the Sim out of my old phone and put it in the new one if there will be any more insanity on my bill and he goes to check and puts me on hold.  And Hangs Up On Me. True enough when I called back and could never find him again other agents complained about IT issues.

So now I have one unopened phone and I don't know if another is coming to me.  I log into my account to see my bill is a whopping $500 for all of the bs they put a 6 year customer through just trying to get a new phone.

Get a CREDO phone from credomobile.com or a simplemobile.  They don't give a rats ass about their customers at T-mobile.

DATA USAGE - 2/28/12 11:37 AM

DATA USAGE

T-mobile is charging me for data usage they claim i used.  They say all they see on their side is that I used their mobile broadband.  They specicfied that there is a record showing that i used it at 3:45am.

I was dead asleep.  How the hell did i use the mobile broadbad.  NOT TO MENTION, my sim card was having problems being activated.  I could not even make any calls or text for the two days they said i used mobile broadband.  How the hell was I using their boradband service in the first place?

i called tmob to have this fixed.  for a whole hour the stupid rep could not even help me.  at the end of the conversation, he finally realized what the hell i was talking about.  he said he will have his supervisor give me a call.

*note* i have a recording of the conversation i had with this stupid idiot representative.

it has been two days.  I refuse to pay phone bill until this is resolved and this morning my phone has been shut off.

tmobile bad - 11/19/11 8:47 PM

tmobile bad

he problems I had with t-mobile are multiple, before i list them i recommend everyone to write their congressperson regarding t-mobile's unethical 200 contact ending fee; Especially since their overall service sucks. PLEASE don’t just complain here write blogs about your suck service find others who would hyperlink your blog(s) to their “t-mobile sucks” blog. They will keep doing this until a lot of people complain like Netflix or bank of America. I deal both idiots and complained and/or cut back on both with everyone else and we all see what happened to their cost increasing measures.

1. The phone I originally had always, always dropped calls or lost reception I called in to cancel and T-mobile offered me a new 4g phone that was even worse.

2. The new phone dropped even more calls, couldn’t get on the internet (while I was standing still in the middle of Lincoln park (chicago), texts would not go through. Whenever I tried to use the camera for video or picture, the camera would literally reboot itself! It got to the point, that I use it for a portable storage, and maybe, occasionally texting, whenever I felt lucky.

3. I contacted t-moblie via online twice, and their online representatives are terrible, they skate around the issue and don’t care if you threaten to cancel! Why? Because they know you will not because you don’t have the $200 fee to cancel. I did (ha ha) and the reason I had to pay it was because when my first phone went down due to battery (had to charge it every hour after a year) and service issues they wouldn’t send me a replacement without signing up for a new contract. PLEASE DO NOT Re-up with t-mobile with they give you this option!

4. After they lousy service I simply decided to cancel it but never got around to it I missed a payment so I called into pay it and cancel the phone. At this point September 2011: I had enough of the suck service, and paying for internet - I couldn’t connect to, a phone in which I couldn’t call anyone (4 minutes of use for the month to the point of cancel sept 14), a camera that didn’t work the phone rep treated me like a deadbeat! I stated my intent to pay the balance and the cancellation fee. All she kept asking me was if I was going to pay the balance today I felt like I was in a SNL skit! I finally told her that I need to talk to a manager because The rep wanted me to pay for the balance and then send me to the cancellation department. That is code for “getting the idiot customer to stay” like they did with the aforementioned new phone t-mobile gave me. I told her “NO” I want to pay the whole thing at once (yes they can do that) and I walked to talk to a manager she then again asked if I would pay the balance, I said “manager, manager, manager, manager” until I heard silence on the phone. The rep was still there not speaking, until I cussed (b-word) knowing that when dealing with call centers. If a person puts you on a “silent hold” meaning the rep doesn’t have you on that music hold , waiting for a manger, they are waiting for you to do WHAT THEY WANT TO DO; so with that word she said “WHAT?!” I responded by stating “I said I wanted a manager didn’t I?”

5. I finally got a manager who reiterated that $200 cancellation fee and was quick to process the payment, after I shut her down with her “maybe we can get you a new phone” speech. I explained that the matter got worse with the new 4g phone that I got when I resigned with t-mobile, and that a new phone would not help me, because I was simply done with them. Payment was recorded and sent and after like 17 minutes with the rep, 5 minutes with the manager and my account was closed for good.

Unfortunately, now T-mobile has to deal with my eternal complaining to congresspeople and better business bureaus, etc through posts and blogs, just because they DID NOT honor their contract. And that’s what all the complaints against t-mobile are about, You sign a contract, you pay for services that should be rendered, t-mobile doesn’t do that at all. In fact, I am contacting my congressman and asking he put forward legislation to do away with such cancellation fees, if you have complained constantly about lack of service. Like a “3 strikes rule” allowing us to cancel without such a hefty cancellation fee if we the CUSTOMER, cannot get satisfactory service, and have complained 3 times regarding major issues with our phone service. Why should we pay from something that doesn’t work? My parents never did so, neither did theirs when did we just accept what we were given, and pay through the nose for it? Would you go to a restaurant three times if they gave you bad service, or couldn’t get your order right three times? No. T-mobile can have their 200 and lack of service, I will complain until the cows come home, I will create a blog stating exactly what I have stated here.

Lets all record our conversations and publish them on Social Media/YouTube

Lets all record our conversations and publish them on YouTube to be found by anyone who might be considering T-Mobile as their service provider. Better yet, let their existing customers know what type of business they are supporting! Let their prospective customers decide for themselves whether they want to support such a practice. No matter what we write here, it is not going to be viral - I wish I had found this site before signing up with T-Mobile. We need to publish recorded conversations in the open - that's the only way those brainless MBAs will get to basics of customer service!

I just posted this in the other section of this site, I thought it might help support my notes so posting it here as well.

Hello Guys/Gals - calling all T-Mobile Customers!!

First of all, I have one request! Stop abusing India and Indian Call Centers! They haven't forced any company to lay off their staff and move call centers to India. Take a look at the shirt you are wearing and tell me... is it made in USA? So, its all about stupid business decisions made by BRAINLESS EXECUTIVES at CHEAP MEGA CORPORATIONS to outsource everything except their own jobs, and WE IDIOT BUNCH OF CONSUMERS still keep buying their services/goods because they sell it cheaper then others!! What gives??
Now here is my T-Mobile rant: I was burned with Sprint spineless (all American) customer service so about 6 months ago, I paid $160 to Sprint in early termination fee and moved to T-Mobile! I have been having issues with my phone for 6+ weeks (in warranty, I have been paying freaking $6/month or so for additional warranty) and still they have been making me jump through hoops to prove to me that I am the one who is at fault, instead of acknowledging that they sold me a faulty LG G2X device! No matter what I try they are acting as spineless cowards (again, all American) who just don't care about their customers - they hang up on me if after 1 hour of non-sense I get angry!!
Now, my main point is that THIS ALL SEEM TO BE BY DESIGN - some f**king idiot VP at T-Mobile is taking a big paycheck home by showing how many customers he F**ked, and then sleeping off with some VP of marketing at T-Mobile who is laughing her way to reaching climax on how well they are f**king us all!

I have been lied to by many of their employees and probably by some I cannot understand who do not even speak good English. I was given a plan at a price and they increased it $20 and told me there was no such plan. THey lie and do not care. This company is not about the customer but the bottom line. They have so many customers that any of us that are unhappy is just collateral damage of doing business. They credited me $20 the first month. Now why would they do this if there was no such plan? I have caught them in so many lies that I wrote a letter, got a call and they will allow me to get out of my contract 1 year sooner or 8/2012. Now why would they do this? Come 8/2012 I am out of here and I have been a customer since 2003. They just do not care.

Two cans & a string provide me with better cel service than tmobile. And, what? they have a customer service department? i sure cant get in touch with them, no matter what i try. o yea, hours of operation for 611 is 3-10pm pacific time. So, i drive to my local retail store only to be met with rude employees that are bothered by  my very presence interupting them. If they do assist you, they usually screw up more than help. There is absolutely no other way to remove a sim card from the tmobile system unless they do it. Well,it happened to me yesterday and it will take up to 72 hours before my services is restored??? where is the credit on my bill for this? Im am so disappointed and disgusted with tmobile that im speechless. when my contract ends after the at&t takeover next year, i wont be renewing. at&t, if your smart you'll back out now.

The Choice to Outsource - 5/28/11 10:13 PM

The Choice to Outsource

They've outsourced all of their low profit/low priority customers (Flexpay, Prepay, etc) to call centers in emerging economies (India, Philippines, Mexico, etc). It was a bad move. While I'm sure they are all very nice people, I doubt they are as well trained as the CSR's in the US who handle the business accounts and data services. They are armed with only a computer screen filled with standard scripts for standard problems. While Sue Nokes, Customer Service Executive, boasts of low absenteeism, internal promotion, and serving hot lunches to the employees she visits, the people to whom we speak are far beyond her umbrella of employee satisfaction. They are the ones answering our calls, not because they are the best choice, but because they are the cheaper alternative. The choice to outsource is completely contrary to Nokes's supposable one call resolution commitment. It will eventually be T-Mobile's downfall.

HORRIBLE customer service - 4/25/11 2:43 PM

HORRIBLE customer service

My complaint about Tmobile mistly is the horrible wait times to get any help.

Everytime i have had to call tmobile to speak witha  rep I have waited no less than 30 minutes, and usually up to an hour before I finally give up. this happens VERY often. Several times I have called and waited 30 minuites, finally gotten a rep who promises to trnsfer me, then during the transfer has hung up on me. I call back and wait another 30 minu, same thing happens again. I am disgusted. I want out of tmobile and will do so as soon as I am ableto buy four new phones with another company. I am DISGUSTED with tmobiles customer service.

as my current phone’s speaker is broken. However, after three hours of waiting
in the store and being put on hold and transferred, I did not leave the store
with an upgraded line. I am still unable to upgrade my line because the
database has not yet cleared.

               This is
not why I am upset. I am upset by the way I was and am being treated by my
t-mobile customer service representatives. In five days, I have talked to
eleven representatives. I have been told contradicting facts; someone told me I
had to wait one day before I could upgrade my line, another told me I had to
wait thirty days. I have been on the phone for hours and treated rudely. I have
been patronized. I have been told there is nothing that can be done. As a
customer, I have been abused and maltreated. I have tried to clear an error to
my account, and nothing has been done. Furthermore, even though I have called
repeatedly and been told repeatedly that notes were being taken, every
representative I talked to acted as though my situation was new. In fact, on
one situation, a representative refused to believe I wasn’t using the phone I
tried and was unable to buy.

               I have
been with t-mobile company for eight years, and I have never seen consistency
from this company’s representatives. For some reason, the people who are meant
to provide a service to customers act as though helping someone with a problem
is above them.

I do not want to have to change
providers, and this letters is not meant to be an ultimatum. All I am asking
for is to be allowed to buy a new phone and to be treated fairly, yet the
simple request seems to be impossible. I am stuck with a broken phone and am
unable to do anything about it.

T mobile sucks!

I am very upset at tmobile I had a sidekick that was giving me so many problems I finally had enough after losing allllllllllll my contacts. I called t-mobile to let them know I was breaking my contract and that I would pay the fee that comes with it. The lady told me since it was a network problem I would be forgiven for all the fees and wouldn't have to pay the disconnection fees. Two months later I have an attorney ( so he says) calling my job threatening me and calling me a liar saying that I must pay t-mobile or else they will take me to court. My response to him was " kiss my f*kin a** b*tch"!!! And hung up.

TMOBILE - SUCKS

I had t-mobile for about 6 yrs. I had an issue which they were supposed to credit my account $75.00. I called them several times over about a year inquiring why I hadn't received my credit. I have yet to receive my credit. I finally decided to change to a different company when my contract was over. T-mobile sent my last bill and it was way over my monthly charges, which they had no explanation. So before cutting ties, once again I ask about my credit. The agent tells me it's over the statue of limitations and they don't have to credit me anything. SO LONG T-MOBILE....NEVER AGAIN!

Had to contact T-Mobile 5 times just to speak with a Supervisor and that was after waiting on hold 62 minutes. The Supervisor was not willing to think outside of the box to resolve my issue. He did not care that I had just spent 2 years and fulfilled my service contract. He did not care that I had spent $400 on a phone that had given my nothing but problems the entire 2 years and in fact had to be replaced twice during that time. Now it is having issues again and needs to be replaced but I do not wish to have this phone any longer. The Supervisor's only solution was for me to purchase a new phone at full retail price or sign another 2 year agreement which will increase my monthly service rate by $25 which adds up to close to $500 after 2 years. Thats so I can have the courtesy of paying $250 dollars for a new phone instead of the full retail price. So I either pay $500+ for the phone now or pay $750+ over the next 2 years. Neither of those options seems reasonable and to top it off he was rude and said they were doing me a favor. I will be going to another provider before the week is out. Good job on losing another loyal customer T-Mobile.

My daughter had her phone stolen, filed the claim, then filed a police report too. She then contacted Tmobile to let them know that all has been done and still refuse to allow her to use her insurance. They are claiming that there has to be a big investigation before anything can be done while her phone continues to be charged and text messages sent. Right now, she has been on hold to speak with a supervisor for 1 hr. Next we will have  to contact the Attorney General and BBB.

Rude T-Mobile calls on cell.

I received a bill saying it was due on a certain date. I received a rude phone call, the man arguing that I owed the money sooner.  I told him that I had a bill with the date it was due and that's when I was going to pay it.  I have been a regular customer of T-Mobile for a long time. They disconnected my phone two days before the due date.  This is how they treat their regular customers.  No thanks. I'm not going to reconnect with these rude people. My cell phone was not to receive rude calls from them.  I really don't even need it.

My reason to be heard to boycott - 12/20/09 3:12 PM

My reason to be heard to boycott

My compliant is limited to this: I was on Suncom for several years when T-Mobile bought them out. With Suncom I had the 1000 min with no taxes, free incoming and no roaming charges at 39.99 plus other fees for the add ons. All was very awkard as nothing was compatible but the minute count. Then, I went on a trip out west and received a $75.00 bill for roaming charges. They said I was not supposed to receive these charges; they took them off, and then the next month put them back on without notice, and they refused to remove them.  I told them if they did not take them off I would cmove on. I told them they were breaking the contract. To make it up, they gave me the unlimited everything for $49.99/month, and it is OK, but my biz is down as a home inspector (www.timwilliams.biz) so I do not even use 1000 min a month now, for many many months. Point is: THEY BROKE THEIR CONTRACT WITH ME. That is why I tell this story. Do not let them break a contract without something better in return.
