I couldn't be more angry at this company. Their rates are ridiculous and their service is nonexistant. Their employees are rude, unknowledgable, and condescending. The only way to make this company realize that their costumers are not mindless drones is to take a stand against this kind of bad business practices! They have recived over 300 negative comments and NOBODY seems to be happy with them so why aren't we doing something about it?! Do you really need TV/internet so badly that you're afraid to stand up to these idiots?

We are paying for highspeed internet,and are supposed to be getting around 15mbps.I've ran every kind of speedtest possible and can only get around 2mbps.Every time they send a tech out my speed amazingly goes up,and they are running the same test i have.I dont know how many people were i live are getting ripped off.Boycott Demands

I have been in contention with Mediacom since January of 2012. I have never felt so victimized, manipulated, deceived, talked down to, disrespected, oh, I could go on. I just looked at the complaints on MediacomTV and Internet and I go to the boycott and there are only two people who DARED STEP UP! With 37 pages of complaints, come on people, take responsibility for your disatisfaction regarding this Company. Rocco B. Commisso is now the sole owner and President of Mediacom. He was named Cableperson of the Year in 2012, He has gotten numerous awards and it's all been for him, not his Company. I just wrote a letter to him marked Personal and urgent. I am in a position where I'm 70 years old, disabled and on a very minimal fixed income from social security. The only entertainment I have is TV, yet I'm willing to go on record that this is the worst service, customer service, over-billing (dishonest/unfair business practices?) I've ever experienced in my life. MR. COMMISSO DOES NOT CARE. THEY ONLY CHOICE IF HAVE TO GET SOMETHING OTHER THAN MEDIACOM CABLE TV IS TO MOVE OUT OF MY APARTMENT TO A DIFFERENT BUILDING BECAUSE MY OWNER WILL NOT PERMIT DIRECT TV OR DISH TO PUT ANYTHING ON THEIR BUILDING OR ROOFTOP. I HAVE NO CHOICES. MY BILL JUST DOUBLED AND THERE IS NO CHOICE I HAVE OTHER THAN GO TO THE VERY BASIC CABLE. ALSO, WHEN I WAS HOOKED UP TWO YEARS AGO (CONTRACT) THE TECHNICIAN TOOK MY DVD/VHS PLAYER WITH HIM WHEN HE LEFT MY APARTMENT. THEY DID NOTHING ABOUT IT. I WAS OVERCHARGED, OVERSTRESSED AND UNBELIEVEABLY FRUSTRATED WHEN TRYING TO DEAL WITH THEIR REPRESENTATIVES. I, HOWEVER, RECORDED EVERY CONVERSATION I HAD WITH THEM. I AM NOW GOING TO REPORT THE SITUATIONS TO THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE BECAUSE, FRANKLY, I CAN'T DEAL ANYMORE AND MAINTAIN MY SANITY.
