WHIRLPOOP flushed Maytag down the toilet.
My storie is like so many others. I bought a very expensive Maytag washing machine and less than 5 years later the Maytag dealers words to me are "the parts are so expensive that it is cost prohibitive to fix these machines". They suggested to call whirlpool, which always ended with the automated answering service hanging up on me, after being transfered several times and waiting.
I WILL FOREVER REFER TO THEM AS WHIRLPOOP.
It is unbelievable the run-around you get when you try to use a extended warrenty service plan that cost $283.68 ....I have had a defective washer for THREE WEEKS and have talked to a dozen people and finally got an authorization repair number, and what good did it do? NONE. I even called the obligor of the Service plan in Antlanta GA....they don't even answer the phone and if you call the alternate number listed you get a message in Spanish. DO NOT DEAL WITH MAYTAG....WHICH IS NOW WHIRLPOOL
