War Against Annual Chinese Pop Singing Contest!

Boycott Description

Every year, this contest has BIASED JUDGING. Those who are members of the Manila Downtown YMCA Organization, popular kids or personally known by the judges have entered into the final round, to think that those who have true potential are eliminated! Complaints are heard everywhere, everytime after each contest is held. The Organization is too proud to make changes and improvement in the contest! Such act destroys the legacy of the Manila Downtown YMCA itself, and has caused so much embarassment amidst the Filipino-Chinese Community.

Boycott Demands

Choose much challenging songs for the contestants, and divide them into two categories (one for the lower years, Freshmen and Sophomores, and another for the higher years, Juniors and Seniors), of course, choose judges that have impressive resume, professional and not because they are former/current YMCA Members or winners of the Chinese Pop Song Contest! Meanwhile, the Emcee should be of eligible level (can deliver Mandarin/English speech fluently)! If there are any complaints, the Organization should not hinder netizens to post their views and opinions!
