Boycott Description

The Seattle Mariners suspender Steve Clevenger without pay for the rest of the 2016 season for exercising his first amendment right to speak freely toward political and social matters after he was critical of the President and the Black Lives Matter movement.

Boycott Demands

Boycott attendance as well as radio and television coverage of major league balls beginning with the playoffs until the following occurs.

 

1) The Seattle Mariners reinstate Steve Clevenger.

2) THe Seattle Mariners pay the full salary due to Steve Clevenger.

3) Major League Baseball updates its rules to protect the right of players to speak freely on political and social issues affecting the nation.
