American Express claims to be a supporter of Small Business. They are not. Despite immaculate payment histories, they cut the credit lines of small businesses and charge predatory level fees to the point that small businesses can no longer afford to accept Amex, only Visa/MC. In my case, I have an immaculate payment history, never late, no matter how much I owe (I have one of those green no spending limit cards). Now, for their "financial review" they want me to give them my tax return??? What's next - a lien on my property? Worse, they are partners with Costco, likely the biggest retailer after Walmart. And if you want to use credit, you are forced to use Amex at Costco. And they have become big and arrogant from their partnership with Costco, so why should they care about small businesses?Join this boycott now - if you are a consumer, don't use Amex. Use your Visa/MC/Discover. If you are a business, small or otherwise, don't take Amex! I know my retail business will STOP taking Amex. And I will tell every customer of mine I no longer accept Amex, and encourage them not to use Amex anywhere they shop.
Boycott Demands
Stop charging exhorbitant, predatory fees to small businesses.Don't harass your account holders who have an excellent payment history about when they are going to pay their balances.
Don't cut the credit limits of account holders who have been your loyal clients for years.
Don't ask your account holders who have excellent payment histories and have been your clients for decades for their tax returns - it's beyond your boundaries !

Payment got lost in mail instead of contacting with a friendly reminder by email like I've gotten from other companies AM EX choices to make a harrassing SUNDAY morning phone call.
I was in the hospital with my wife and the customer sevice rep would not let me get off the phone Tuesday I get that "friendly reminder" E mail Which I should have received first But Am EX customer sevice policy is to harass its customers on the sabbath !@#$$$$$ Satin worshippers
