Boycott Title

Save The Internet Net Neutrality

Boycott Description

Net Neutrality is the basic principle that prohibits internet service providers like AT&T, Comcast and Verizon from speeding up, slowing down or blocking any content, applications or websites you want to use. Net Neutrality is the internet’s guiding principle: It preserves our right to communicate freely online. Net Neutrality is the way that the internet has always worked. The Federal Communications Commission is set to vote on December 14, 2017, and is expecte to approve, new rules which would permit Companies like AT&T, Comcast and Verizon to decide who is heard and who isn’t. They’d be able to block websites or content they don’t like or applications that compete with their own offerings.

Boycott Demands

For tghe FCC to provide a policy that all Internet content, whether from big or small companies, would be treated equally by Internet providers. These must include Net Neutrality rules that keep the internet free and open — allowing people to share and access information of our choosing without interference from internet service prioviders. These include
  • Fiber: Verizon Fios, Comcast Xfinity, AT&T U-Verse, CenturyLink Prism, Fios from Frontier, Google Fiber.
  • Cable: Comcast Xfinity, Optimum, Cox Communications, Mediacom, RCN, Suddenlink, Charter Spectrum, Time Warner Cable (Charter), Brighthouse (Charter)
