If you ever have issues logging into your yahoo account than you are out of luck. if you have ever contacted yahoo customer service than I AM SORRY. The very WORST customer service ever. How do you have customer service is none of the employees are able to service the customer? they ask you the same questions that locked you out of your account in the first place. they are rude, mean, and the worst part is they do not help. if you request to speak to a manager you are fisrt told "they will not be able to help you" (so whats the point of a manager) then you are placed on an extremely long hold. if you are not told that there are no availble managers then you are are connected to someone who is just as rude, mean and useless as the rep. they offer no help if your account has been hacked into. your information is lost forever. the process needs to change. i have lost all of my emails, contacts, ect... i knoe of other people who have been through the same thing and have ended up with the same results.

Boycott Demands

Provide alternate ways and resoultions to help customers access their accounts. hire employees who actullay want to work in the customer service field. train managers/supervisors to able to help customers if the Reps can not.

I created this boycott and just recieved a response from the CEO Marissa Mayer ([email protected]). The response simply says: "*uck Off). So if this is how the head of the company responds, it is easy to see why the customer service is so below par. Thank You Marissa for giving me a great example to share.

I am sick and tired of being sick and tired of the marginal service and the absolutely non-existent customer service this company offers. I do not have a full week to dedicate to finding a contact email or telephone number that works. Some Yahoo idiot just ran whatever they call the "2 hour dx test" and asked me if I needed help learning how to format an email!!!! I should have moved to google ages ago. This is my impetus. Sayonara Yahoo, you miserable excuse for a company.  I hope somehow you blow yourself out of the water one of these days soon.

Yahoo customer service was great until Marissa Mayer took over as CEO and started cutting costs. I have yahoo service I pay for and in the past we could request a customer service phonecall and within 1 to 2 minutes the phone would ring and a friendly US representative with plenty of knowledge would call us.
Since Marissa Mayer took over it has become impossible to reach anyone by phone and all of their online help has become garbage and is making you click in circles in an attempt to find answers!
Lets face it, when people need a live person, they have a real problem that is unusual and therefore generic help answers from their online help menu don't solve the problem.

In my recent 2 attempts to reach Yahoo help by phone I was told that my hold time would be 22.8716  (yes, they give you 4 digits for the seconds - how f-n stupid is that?) and I hung up both times after more than 40(!!!!!!) minutes of waiting and being told how important my call and business is to them.

Yahoo merchant services and their help is about as bad as it gets and we are ready to leave Yahoo behind for good.
We are already looking for new business solutions now.

I have been locked out of my account for over a week now.  there is no way to talk to a customer service agent.  its constant answering questions and waiting another 48 hrs for answers.  then more questions and another 48 hour wait.  with important things i need in my yeahoo.  this is rediculous and once i can get back into my yahoo, i will definately be changing to my gmail for any future emails.  this is rediculous.... WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE HISTORY.  STAY AWAY FROM YAHOO

What customer service

Can't be bad if there is no service at all.  They don't answer the phone and unless you have exactly the issue that have available to solve, forget it.  I keep getting asked to change password, to make my profile public and to add my mobile #.  This is getting on my ever loving last nerve.  I'm not changing my p/w.  I'm not adding my mobile #.  I'm not making my profile public.  And yet I can't login without going through this every stinking time.  I've had it.

the yahoo customer service rep I spoke was kind and gentle and gave me a lot of wriggle room to get out of the deal I was in.

that said, that guy was nice but yahoo service overall? FORGET ABOUT IT!

yAHoo does not have a reliable service that you can count on.

Yahoo has failed to deliver on its promise to give us our money's worth. i invested in an account with Yahoo for my business email needs. I took the bait so I can get a free domain. I regretted the decision the moment the problem popped up. Just a day after the start of service, my Business email failed.

Adding insult to injury, i called up customer support and I was made to wait - ONE HOUR and many many minutes after.... - I WAS ON HOLD waiting waiting waiting. ITS FRUSTRATING.

If you ever went to an expensive restaurant and they made you wait for that much time outside the bathroom because they are trying to fix the toilet, how would you feel?

if they know there are issues with their products, Yahoo should not sell it. PERIOD. dont deal with them, save yourself the hassle, dont mess with these YAHOOS.

The point of those security questions is that you choose an answer you won't forget no matter how long ago it was. Putting "fdhsdfgsfhsdfh" for an answer and then getting mad you can't remember you did that it is like you bending your housekey in half and then yelling at the lock when it won't open. Are you saying you want Yahoo! agents to grant access to your account to anyone who calls up and demands it loud enough? Think about that for half a second. Maybe if so much is riding on your free email account, take a second to remember your password and put real answers to your security questions.

clearly if i knew the security questions answers i would not have contacted yahoo, their attitude and arrogance is terrible.

I was asked the same question more then 3 times, before i was shown a copy of the terms and conditions, obviously i sought help because i forgot my answers. their totally and equivically uselss.

in February 2012 something withe the Yahoo-Alias-Names of a friends account went wrong. Finally we reported that after passing dozends of annoying obstacles to the Yahoo-People at the Service. Last week we tried to find ou, if the problem would be solved: Even after more than 8 Month they do not care on the customers Problems. They are relly sitting on a high horse. Hearing, they would try to invent a better Mail sounds like the fairy-tale of santa clause, execept, it is really not funny at all!

It is unbelivable, when customers have to relize, how stupid they will be kept from Yahoo. Go to somebody else, but stay away from Yahoo....

What customer service!! I was trying to call because after I paid for the email service I stopped receiving it. Never got a live person. The recording just hung up on me after refering me to the Yahoo website which didn't help or answer my questions. it didn't even refer me to an email support.

Serious security issue and no customer support.

I recently reactivated a deleted yahoo account after almost three years. I did not intend to and yahoo states that this is not possible.I simply selected my old username when opening a ‘new’ account.

The first mail I received was ‘welcome to yahoo’ immediately I began receiving mail from my old subscriptions. The mail I received included links to my social media accounts, even messages from my utility provider arrived, with links to my account. Information I had used to subscribe to mailing lists and open online accounts was made available to anyone opening a new email. Luckily it was me signing up for a 'new' yahoo account, but it could have been anyone.  

The account was deleted because it had been compromised and customer support did not help.  It is still sending spam to itself, but deleting it again is clearly very unsafe, as obviously any ‘new’ customer can reactivate it.

Customer support steadfastly refuses to respond to this.

I've emailed Yahoo & gotten no response. I called and spoke to reps on 3 occasions but they each encountered my problem & couldn't fix it; one rep gave me a fax number to write. That was done over 3 months ago and I have yet to be contacted, so I'm still locked out.

After several days of not being able to access my account and receiving the Error Report HTTP 500 suggesting issues with the Yahoo website (not my account) I have had no success.  I've contacted Yahoo7! (Australia) who fobbed me off saying they don't deal with mail issues!? then a useless email address, who have left me hanging ... I am pissed off!  Google shows no reports from Yahoo that they are working on their website and I am left without assistance!  Good on you Yahoo!

no email 10 days, no help at all just constant stupid questions from different dingbats in the help (not) centre. If only I could retrieve my contacts list to stick on my. ew gmail account. If I did as bad a job as these people I wouldn't last till lunchtime!

Worst customer service I've ever had the bad fortune to encounter!! I haven't been able to send emails for 4-days and NO RESPONSE from Yahoo! Why don't we file a class action suit? I am losing many $ from their ineptness. Any lawyers out there want to spearhead this potentially lucrative law suit?

I had a problem with spam being sent from my account and I had a very nice agent helping me, my problem was resolbed swiftly.

My email was hacked and it took me 3 days to get someone who spoke good enough English to cancel my account! By then the hacker already had all my contacts removed and was scamming for money .  They are the worst ever email service !

Hacker got into my att.net email and created a new Yahoo email address with my name and sent to all contacts that I am in Madrid and need money!  Have been trying to correct and resume my email account and even att could not help me this morn and you know what it is like to try to get to Yahoo.  $30 and a teck might answer question.  Think they have ever refunded $30?  GOODBY YAHOO!!!

I have been hovering over my computer to get help from yahoo only for them to close the window and not help.

 

My account is locked and it is the one I use for potential jobs. I am leaving messages and making calls to every number I can find.

 

ANGER does not even explain the feeling I have for yahoo right now

THE WORST COSTUMER SERVICE EVEEEEEERRRRRR!!! I was so fustrated trying to access my e-mail, i broke into tears! I wasn't able to recieve any "Help" from that dumb Help Page that gave me the run around all night. Customer Service number was a joke, redirects you to the same silly "Help" Page. Between the Help page (that was NO help) and the Customer service (w/out any Service) all i recieved was a damn headache. Nothing solved just time wasted...

I join the voices speaking about Yahoo's terrible customer service. I am trying to contact them about a business advertising account. I need to cancel it -- so I can understand (but not agree) why they might want to be cynical about helping me. But, I might also be interested in placing larger advertising accounts unrelated to my current problem. With what I have experienced, I will not use--nor recommend--Yahoo for online advertising. Yahoo is fast gaining a wide reputation for bad service among business and consumers audiences.

Yahoo is horrible horrible company......Ive tried to get 3 business locations listed and cant and i cant get help from any one from yahoo they provide No one to answer questions and all they tell you to do is email them and then i get no return email from them....

 

 I cant beleive peopple actually pay money for this horrible service....

I have contacted yahoo support numerous times about a reaccuring problem and continualy get the same automated email in return that has absolutly nothing to do with the problem I am having. This has been going on for months if you have problems they don't care they won't answer anything at all.

Maybe she is upset with the what Variety had to say yesterday: " Yahoo CEO Failed to Turn Company Around". Well, if this is how she repaonds to customers concerns, its easy to see why.
