refrigerators

Boycott Description

Watch out if you buy an refrigerator. 12 month very limited warranty after that it's all your baby. Ours is 22 months old and compressor went out. It's a wonder it didn't burn down the house. Wow they offered me a 15% off a new one. They don't back their compressors so you will pay about $300. This isn't right, it is not even 2 years old. I could understand if it was 5 or 6 years. So we have put our food in the 22 year old refrigerator in the shed. Hummm some upgrade!!! It's ashame that the old one takes the summer heat and winter months and a new one can't even survive the kitchen in our home. I want action!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boycott Demands

I want them to replace the compressor including labor A.S.A.P. This is  not to much to ask to stand by your product. Is this why the Whirlpool plant near us is shutting down? No wonder with customer service like this. To bad Wal-Mart doesn't sell appliances. They would take it back. Please all I want is for you to fix the damn thing.

WATCH OUT FOR WHIRLPOOL! - 10/17/11 7:16 AM

WATCH OUT FOR WHIRLPOOL!

I bought a new stainless steel side by side frig in 2004.  Within 6 weeks of purchase I started having problems.  Whirlpool has sent out serviemen eleven times and I've had problems in between as well.  The company won't even respond to my letters.  I have lost thousands in spoiled food and wasted hours waiting for servicemen to arrive.  I recommended this unit to 2 friends in my first month of ownership and they both bought the same model and have had no problem.  Why can't they admit that this is a LEMON and exchange it and study it and figure out how to avoid selling this problem to others?  I don't get it!  The customer service people are rude and unhelpful.  I come from a family of Whirlpool users and they're all shocked that Whirlpool is so unresponsive and aloof about this issue.  Save your reputation Whirlpool and deal with issues instead of sweeping them under the rug.  I guess we'll be getting refrigerators from Japan next.  How sad!

water filters for refrigerators

the last two water filters i bought from whirlpool no longer fit the refrigerator... i thought the filter part was broke and coudn't afford to fix it, so i had to wait until i had some extra money...an appliance expert come and he showed me that the inside of where the filter is inserted has no grooves, and the filters i was sent has grooves... that's why they don't fit any more... i called whirlpool and was told that this is my tough luck, but they no longer make the filters for my refrigerator....nor will they refund the hundred plus dollars i spent on these filters because it is over 30 days... what happened to the integrity of whirlpool, a company that has been around since i was a kid?

Whirlpool is company of cheaters and thieves

My compliant number is  - PN1110007035. I have Whirlpool Icemagic 400L Elite refrigerator. A fan in its frost free deep freezer compartment was making lot of noise. Whirlpool Engineer came first day and by manual inspection, he imagined that PCB is faulty and replaced PCB with another defective PCB which he brought with him. Once he left, fan was again making noise. We called him again, then he said he is bringing new PCB. Why did he install faulty PCB at first place.

In his second visit he replaced the faulty PCB with another PCB and he put another part with his wild imagination that it is also faulty and he charged Rs 5300.00. Without any testing of the refirgerator, he took the money. After he left within 2 hours, refrigerator was not working at all. It is not able to cool anything. It has stopped working.

After paying Rs 5300.00 of my hard earned money, the thief named Virender Shingh (untrained service engineer of whirlpool), has spoiled my refigetor of Rs 26000.00 of my hard earned money.

If Whirlpool has even a little sense of customer service, they need to fix the refiegerator without any cost.  So far it appear their call centre, their service negineers everyone are cheater and thieves, who first distribute & sell faulty products in the market and then wait that customer will come and get their products fixed through them, so that they can further LOOT them.

WHIRLPOOL QUIT INDIA. WE DON"T Want CHEATER COMPANIES SELLING ANY PRODUCT IN INDIA. We DON"T want thieves on our soil.
