Boycott of Whirlpool

I was also suckered by the TV ads and installed Duet washer/dryer 3 yrs ago when my custom home was finished. From day one the washer wouldn't do as told by button/cycle selection.  Tried to get the business that we bought from to service the washer and they won't do service calls over 50 miles.(65 miles) Whirlpool said I could always take the washer back to the dealer,but........since a service tech can't see that the washer is hooked up corectly,the warranty may be voided.  Gee thanks,never again.

They are taught to SCAM the consumer ... Stay away ... Iknow what I wrote above but now see 100% clearer with the dealings I had with them !! The ceo does NOT want to be bothered by the customer HMMM why not afraid some one may make a valid point ? They suck they know they suck and they wont fix it ... As far as I am concerned I would suggest going to your SAG office and launching complaints against them ... Make them answer for crappy service , you can even go to the consumer protection groups and file ... they admited to me they do not read this stuff because their customers are for the most part happy YEAH right for every happy customer from my reasearch there are 10-12 unhappy customers , why not shoot for 99% or even 100% humm ... lets be customer oriented and admit our faults and FIX IT !! Maytag/whirlpool you are on your way out just ask circuit city :D

same issue with maytag also made by whirlpool . Called the ceo and shamed them in to admiting they were wrong I was right end of story .. Sometimes just a call to the ceo can yeild dividends down the road !
