Boycott of Wegmans supermarkets

Sorry, meant to say "Chase Pitkin" closed, and not Home Depot.

I live a couple blocks from Northgate Plaza, and grew up in the same area.

Wegmans and Star Market were the two main supermarkets at the plaza. Evantually, Wegmans stifles all competition in the area, and builds the (what was coinsidered then..a superstore) store (I worked on it) at Britton and Dewey, after the Britton Rd school is torn down. Home Depot builds on Mt. Read.. and eventually all the area hardware stores close. Home Depot  closes, and leaves no where to pick up nuts and bolts.. other than drive to Ridge Road. Now, the Britton Road Wegmans closes, and there is NO WHERE to shop, other than the little corner gangsta hoodie stores, that are unfriendly and overpriced... Thanks Wegmans !.  The Mt Read store is very poorly layed out, and way too big. Can't wait for the Walmart, to come. Wegmans marketing stratagy...get you used to the giant s@#thouse store at Mt. Read, so you don't care about Walmart (still at least a year away).  Not going to work with me... and will never forget how you abandoned this little area, after out competing every one else. Meanwhile, My family has to drive twice as far, to shop.. and NOT at any Wegmans
