I want to sue United Health Care and AARP for breath of promise. I would never have chosen UnitedHealthcare if I had known they were going to drop ObamaCare. My right to medical care may be damaged because of their irresponsible action. I also would not have joined UnitedHealthCare if they had not been endorsed by AARP. Did AARP know they reserved the right to drop ObamaCare after such a short trial perod? Do the reasons they give hold water or is this just a political trick in a Presidential Election year? The announcement that United Health Care is dropping ObamaCare is politically motivated and violates the trust of thousands of its customers. I would never have paid $165 a month for United Health Care's Medicare "ObamaCare" Supplement if they had not had the endorsement of AARP. Where does AARP stand on this? Absolute TORTURE. For months, we have simply been paying our bills on time and we have been put through insane harassment from the "customer service" department. They call on a daily basis, claiming that for one reason or another, we are not covered for health insurance. My poor father is wasting precious hours of life, and many many precious days of life simply trying to fix their mistakes. They treat us LIKE CRIMINALS because of their own mistakes, and each time something comes up, a minimum of 4 hours are spent on the phone, explaining the most simple things. They claimed our primary physician wasn't in the network, and my dad had to explain 6 times that he was, spell the doctor's name, give them his address, phone number, middle name, and it wasn't until he said "look on page 228 of your network book," that they understood. The hell this company has put my family through is inexcusable, and we are honestly considering suing them for harassment. I am SICK over the number of days spent fixing this company's mistakes, and being treated like DIRT the whole time.
Every day, my dad has migraines, only because of the stress he has been put through over this insurance. He throws up, his blood pressure skyrockets, and overall, I can confidently say trying to get health insurance has taken YEARS off his life. Dealing with health insurance companies is RUINING HIS HEALTH
I can't express the rage I feel towards his company for LITERALLY RUINING their lives. My dad attempted suicide months ago after YET ANOTHER insurance mistake, and it threw him over the edge. Still, they pester him daily, and I sit at home worrying the same thing will happen again.
Do yourself a favor and move to Canada. It's not worth the turmoil.
Boycott them just on the fact that their call center is outsourced to India....my name is Omulet but you can call me Paul really over 1 hour trying to get someone I could actually understand

i think this is good we all have to do something about this thay dont give use aer meds that we need thay tell you what thay thik you should take witch dont even make any sense so what do you do thay got you by the balls thay need to be look at as crimal people are going to die and thats for real no shit
All they care about is making $$$. They are sending the claim processing to India, therefore contributing to the unemployment in this country. Any company that sends work offshore instead of keeping it here is contributing to the demise of this country. I'm sick of it. The economy can't get better if we have no money to spend because we can't find a job because all of the jobs are going to India. All of this to save a buck!
I work in a physicians office and there is nothing that gets under my skin more than a person over in India having access to AMERICANS PERSONAL INFORMATION! UHC has outsourced customer service to India and they do NOT have a clue what they are talking about let alone know ho to speak ENGLISH! There are hundreds of thousands of AMERICANS who need a JOB. Bring our work back home and give it the AMERICANS WHO DESERVE IT! I hate UHC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not only will they not give you 180 day refill, they will not allow you to get your "specialty meds" from any other pharmacy than theirs. I am on life-saving medication for my transplant and it is vital I get my medications on time. Now I have to wait for their delivery rather than run to my local pharmacy to pick them up. My doctor sometimes changes the number of pills I must take and UHC wants me to wait until they mail them to me. THIS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL.
I have had my fill of crap from AARP and United Health Care. Slow or no pay, words that are meaningless, and a mass consperity to suck us people over 50 down the drain.
Pass the work and encourage those people near you to Boycot AARP and UHC.

They are trying thier best to kill me! Or they may be just sitting around waiting on me to die. Something is bad wrong with these people. They won't give you an answer for a month then they won't pay the claim. Have you ever tried to find a provider for UHC? They are few and far between. They keep them on the list but when you call they get mad and tell you very quickly they no longer take United Healthcare.
