Boycott of TurboTax

well at least some of you got something for your money not only did   I encounter errors  this year but las year as well I only needed a 1040ez i was asked question after question unrelated to 1040ez

and after an hour when i was done ask me for last years pin ???

and locked but they had my money allready now i am late filling and no refun and penalty fees....

completed taxes..was told they were sent. suprise in dec from irs. they did not receive them.turbo tax does not have a human to answer the phone.but the company continues to email me wanting me to use it again.

I paid $80 for the home office version, not expecting anything good for free. when TT imported 2009 to 2010, it let me get through all imput and then got stuck in an error loop for expenses with a car that I had even marked in software as "taken out of service in 2010". In years past, amount of mileage fell short of the deduction and it never stopped it before. If I changed it to left in service, it is still looking for expense. Since I had no receipts to back it entering anything there, it would not be wise from an audit standpoint to just put anything in so I can efile. Wondering if paying to file state taxes might get me past this, I paid the $20 to eFile state. Now both will still not efile...and I have tried everything. There is no 800number on my $20 receipt to get a refund now that state won't eFile. BAD, BAD, BAD...no phone numbers to reach a human ANYWHERE until I saw this site. Thanks to whomever posted it; I'm now on hold for 12 minutes using the ###### method and not hopeful of reaching anyone! If they don't fix it this year, I will not buy their product...nice reward for layalty of 7 years. They loose bc I will also tell all my friends--and I used to be good marketing for them!

By the way, is there another site that will help me do my taxes free of charge or for a lesser fee than TurboTax? Contact me at [email protected]

Fed Up With Numb Nuts

Not only do they advertise themselves as a free service when they actually charge you for using their service but when I did my Federal Taxes successfully and I logged on to do the rest of my taxes and got stuck in their "Processing..." page for three hours without moving on they wanted me to pay them $38.00 for an "expert" to help me with the problem. Is it just me or isn't a service supposed to assist you free of charge when their site has a glitch??? When I had trouble downloading a film Netflix gave me a credit on my next payment. Gee, I guess Netflix spoiled me. It seems TurboTax thinks I need a spanking!!

Its not free, everyone is complaining about the e-file not going through but they still get paid for doing nothing, turbox pro say you have to pay for perparation but it is suppose to be free to perpare, free to e-file so it false advertisement.

It isn't user friendly at all. I can't pull up previous years. It gets stuck. I tried to get help from turbo tax but they want to charge me for it. I tried calling them but only get put on hold. I will never ever use turbo tax again

Free is not free. Inernet fraud and TV Comercials
