The same thing has happened to us. Our money was deposited to our card on February 7th. We called on February 10th, because we had waited the 6-9 days we were told it would take to recieve our card in the mail. They then told us that a hold was placed on our account and that we should fax all of the information so we did. We have been calling every day, each day we were told something different. They told us it was still being reviewed, then they told us that it was processing, then the bank told us they didn't have a hold on our money and it should be released in 2 days (this was on Tuesday). Finally yesterday my husband called and they told us that our fax was never recieved,because they got a new fax number so that we should fax our information again and to call back Thursday, because it takes them that long to recieve the information and update in the system. I am so upset that first of all no one even had the decency to call and inform us that our card wasn't coming,because of the security hold and second that after calling every day for two weeks, they just now decided to tell us that they never recieved our first fax. Turbo Tax will never get my business again.

Has your money been deposited into your turbotax card but a security hold has been put on it? They had me fax in my ssc,ID,and proof of address and said it would be 5-7 days for the hold to be taken off of my account. Now 7 days later and the hold has not been released, I called and spoke with a representative and they then stated that there is a new number that you have to fax this information to and they will begin processing it and the funds should be released in 2 days. All this time I have been calling and NOONE told me about this new number UNTIL the day my money should of been available. Mind you NOONE at turbotax card support services is able to tell you WHY your account was put on security hold. This has caused me to bouce payments for my rent, car payment as well as many other bills.Boycott Demands
You need to release the security hold for our accounts and let us have access to our money that you claimed was deposited and available over a week ago...Advertisements

I do agree, this is an extremely messed up and very slow process, I was told 5 to 7 business day, then 5 to 7 business days again, will this ever end. But I also want to remind everyone, I don't depend on my refund to cover or pay bills with, as it really is just a bonus. Lets hope this is all fixed soon.
I read on the Better Business Bureau that Turbo Tax was no Longer in business...I have to wonder if that is why so many peoples taxes have been held up???
Well its now been 20 days since my refund was deposited onto my turbotax card and i STILL HAVE a hold on my funds.. they cant tell me when i will have my money nor why its taking so long. I have spoken with someone everyday and everyday they say 5-7buisness days and well unless they have a different way of counting days 20 days sure does surpass that...... anyone know where or who i can contact to try to have something done about this?

I spoke with a rep again today after waiting a day longer then they said it would take to release it since I faxed my information to this new number. well the rep today stated that the first number they gave me was completely wrong and the second was correct, if this is true why didnt one of the ten reps I have spoken with prior to him give me that information.. the rep advised me that he can not give me a time frame for when my funds will be released because they really dont know.. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and would appreciate anyone else doing the same. Thanks
