Boycott of Time Warner Cable

I live in Central Maine and the onbly cable you can get is Time Warner.  Last month they printed an article in the local newspaper to let the public know that although Time Warner advertises hi-speed internet there is no such thing in our area.  Thousands of customers were paying for hi-speed and since the tehnology for this isnt available they were no faster than thier neighbors regular digital internet service.  But Time Warner had no problem charging extra and taking the money for this.  Something needs to be done.  They need to be shut down.  Re poat this to any site you believe can make a diffrence.  Good Luck in the fight against this corporate giant.

I got a call to sell me a  package deal for all three services, cable, internet, and phone.  Multiple rooms of digital cable, call forwarding and answering service were promised.  After almost a year of broken promises to "investigate", nothing has changed.  I still have not gotten what was promised.  If you deal with time Warner, be sure to get EVERYTHING in writing and ask the installer what he is "authorized" to install BEFORE he begins.  If his authorization does no match what you expect, refuse the installation.  I promise you, after he leaves,  you are stuck with what he installed and will get NOTHING else.
