Boycott of Time Magazine

Thank goodness Obama is no Reagan. Republicans want their BS served up with generous helpings of hokum. Put another doddering, brian-damaged grandfatherly type in the White House and they'll be happy because they'll understand his meaningless drivel. For his part, Obama is stuck cleaning up the mess that the latest Republican incumbent spent 8 years creating.

Ronald Reagan was no Ronald Reagan.  Peope's glorified rememberance of Reagan glosses over a lot of historical data, such as the double digit inflation, the deficit spending from bloated military budgets, the violations of law with the Iran Contra situation, etc.

Reagan did some good things, but the "good old days" thinking that includes selective memory about his successes and failures, like most such things, serves little good.
