Bought my Tickets from Stubhub the day of the event They charged me additional fees I was unaware of until the end of checkout. I drove to my event and couldnt find Stubhub anywhere..I was a little late to the ball game and it took me another hr just to find StubHub I get there and the doors were locked..stubhub closed early and I couldnt pick up my tix a wasted trip to Boston..Ive been on the phone with stubhub for an hour and a half and still havent spoke to an actual person..I will never use STUBHUB EVER AGAIN!!..And I urge YOU to BOYCOTT this company who doesnt care about the buyers..The Customer Service sucks!!..BAN STUBHUB!!!

I bought a ticket that turned out to not be quite what I thought I was buying. had to put it up for sale on STubhub, cause can't canel. Then lost a lot of money and faced a lot of hassles of downloading ticket and then uploading it again.

I will NEVER use Stubhub again.

I sent tickets in the mail to my neighbor, but Stubhub cancelled the transaction because I contacted my neighbor.  They said I violated their service agreement.  I did send the tickets and the buyer paid.  Now I don't have tickets or the payment.  Way to go Stub Flub.  I have sold over $6,000 worth of tickets this year and they just lost a customer over $125 transaction.  In addition someone had my tickets listed on their website.  I contacted them several times but they did not remove my tickets that were for sale by another customer.

I'm a season ticket holder for a few Bay Area sports teams as well as the San Francisco Theater. I list the tickets for sale and attend the events that don't sell, since it is nearly impossible to attend them all.

I've been a customer for over 6 years and have sold thousands of dollars worth of tickets over the years.

On May 18, 2013 my tickets sold on StubHub and on the Warriors Season Ticket Exchange website before I was able to remove the other listing. To clarify, the tickets were sold twice to the same event.  (TicketsNow.com which is owned by Ticketmaster is the Warriors Ticket Exchange website)

I immediately called StubHub and let them know. There is a penalty that StubHub charges at their discretion to sellers, to recoup the cost to replace the tickets with comparable seats at the same event. This policy makes sense and it help protect buyers as well as the "integrity" of the website.

The tickets directly next to mine were available for $7.00 more than what I sold mine for. After factoring in the difference in price, the additional 15% commission the seller pays and the 10% commission the buyer pays, the total additional cost was $8.75. StubHub charged me 275% more than the difference in cost. No, this is not a typo. I was charged two hundred seventy-five percent more than the difference in cost!!

Although the dollar amount was not too significant, I asked that they reconsider the penalty they charged me. I have no problem paying for the difference plus a reasonable fee. Keep in mind, StubHub has generated well over $1,000.00 over the 6 years I was a seller. Additionally, I had a perfect track record up to this point.

The stupidity of the people, to lose a long time seller over a few bucks is laughable. If I had an employee insist on charging a $30.00 fee which lost a client that generated over $1,000.00 in revenue, I would make sure that employee never worked in customer service ever again.

On the bright side, I have cost the company thousands of dollars in future sales because I have encouraged my friends who have season tickets to deactivate their listings and use TicketLiquidator.com and Ticketsnow.com. 

I hope the people on the buy-side will take pleasure in knowing this. I know its frustrating when you get trampled on by customer service reps at StubHub because as a buyer, you do not make a large number of transactions; therefore, the company doesn't value your patronage.

Well, be happy to know that they are losing out on thousands of dollars from me and many other season ticket holders who I know. Well played StubHub, well played.

Did you know that Stubhub allows speculators to sell tickets for events that haven't gone on sale yet and won't go on sale for weeks?  I mistakenly thought an event had already sold out (turned out it hadn't even gone on sale yet!)  I bought a ticket on StubHub for $75, then found out right away that tickets weren't on sale yet and when they went on sale they would only be $25!  I tried to cancel the order and they refused.  I told them that their seller was speculating and that the seller did not have the ticket in their possession and they didn't care.  I'm still disputing it (through my credit card company) but it is now my life's work make sure that everyone I know knows what a horrible experience I had with StubHub and I will never, ever use them again.  They are crooks!

I bought tickets the NCAA Championship and Final Four basketball Games.  They sent me only the Semi Final tickets and told me they made a mistake in the upload of the tickets.  Only the Semi Final game was for sale - however I paid the going rate for both tickets as advertised on their site.  They refused to send me the Championship tickets that I bought and paid for.  They admitted it was their error, however their excuse was "it would cost them too much money to correct their error." Therefore, they would only offer a refund acknowledging it would now cost me money since the ticket prices have increased.

I really hate stubhub and ebay. I wanted to be able to buy/sell through craigslist to avoid all the fees. But craigslist is so sketchy and you can only buy/sell locally and you have to meet the guy in person. Then I found switchon3.com. You meet the guy on craigslist, but you make the purchase through switchon3. Works great. 6% total fees, not bad.

What a joke.  Site went down, no tickets for 7 hours on phone and email...  Told only could refund if not delivered by game time.  We are :45 min from arena and 3:00 hrs at rush hour..  Screw Stub Hub...  Never again... I hope they go UNDER!!!!!!!

I found out the person buying my tickets lived 5 minutes away and stubhub forced me to pay 26 dollars for shipping and are holding my payment that was signed for and confirmed through fedex for 19 days since the sale of my tickets. It's called there Buyer satisfaction time and transfer time! Sell your tickets on ebay or craigslist i will never use stubhub again!!! I Sold these tickets because i was short on money!! What a Joke!!

Like the others who commented about the pathetic company called stubhub, to anyone reading this, I caution you very strongely against buying tickets from stubhub. I bought a NCAA ticket, and when I received it, it was a student didn't. The seller never mentioned that, so when I called stubhub, they said the seller should have listed the ticket as such and that they would find me another ticket. After several phone calls and e-mails to their help line, I agreed to send the ticket back and they would refund the money back to my credit card. Yeah right! I'm still waiting. These customer reps will downright lie to you and convince you it's all being taken care of. Save yourself the irritation and don't do business with this company. Next step for me - contact the Better Business Bureau and try to warn anyone else about this sorry bunch of scoundrals.

There were a pair of tickets being auctioned off, I mistakenly bid on game 6 of the world series instead of game 2.. I didnt realize my mistake until I got the confirmation letter via email and called them within minutes explaining the situation, they made NO attempt to help me and basically said "its not our fault, but maybe someone will outbid you.."  WTF is that?  I then asked if they could change my highest bid to what it is currently set at where I still retain the highest bid and they said no they had to protect the seller, he had a high bid and they couldn't undo anything..  So f-me..   They charge an a ridiculous amount for selling fees (10%) which Ive paid in the past but at least provide some customer support, help me out if I need a favor.. All I can hope at this point is that I get outbid.. What a disaster

Their computer screwed up and they blamed me because I didn't check my confirmation emails.  There isn't a judge in the land that is goging to buy that story.  Just filed small claims suit and you can too.  Contact me to find out how.  [email protected]

I sold tickets then after the fact they claim the buyer of the tickeets couldn't get into the venue with the tickets I sold. They opened an "investigation" that was the biggest sham ever. Their customer service people call and claim to be impartial they don't leave a name or phone # and politely say they are taking the money back unless the seller can produce a ream of evidence in a 48 hour span. They were unresponsive to me via e-mail and at the 1-800 line so I raised cain until they dropped the investigation. They still to this day never gave me the claim forms to fill out to clear my name from the allegation of selling bogus tickets.

I will never use Stub Hub to sell much less buy tickets ever again.

I was excited when I heard Jay-z was coming to Kelowna Canada B.C 

I goggled jay-z tickets and stubhub came up

I called in to stubhub and tried to order the cheapest tickets for 99 dollars. I was told that since I wanted four I could have all the seats beside each other. I wanted everyone to sit together so I asked if they had four tickets 

I was told the seat prices for the four tickets were going to be 250 each plus extra services charges

I agreed 

When I got my tickets the price on them said 99 dollars

I payed $1185.00 for 4 tickets that should have cast 400 dollars

thats 3xtimes what their worth

how do I charge my friend $300 a ticket when they say $99 on them

I called in to stubhub hopping that they had  sent me the wrong ones

after explaining the situation to the customer service rep on the phone she started laughing at me while try to explain stubhub policies.

I lost it on her!! and now Stubhub has lost me as a customer and hopefully everyone who I know and everyone who reads this

do not support them!!
