does anyone know what the MIN # is on the phone in the Statis part of yer phone? Its sposed to match your phone# but mine doesnt !! I even texted the # and a man answered me back and i explained how his phone# is in my phone and so on. I called Straight Talk and they said both times " No idea" and I still cant chwnge it and they wont help. It affects my Data greatly. By the second week they "throttle" my data down to 1 X. Any ideas??

the company will just bump you into the high data usage for no logical reason even if you didnt use the amount of data they supposedly gave you. It used to be a good company now not anymore as of 12-30-13 they just screwed me over and its only half way in the month. Their customer service phone line is filled with Filipino "polite" fu-ckovers, they will just screw with you in a "polite" way but in the end you can just f-uck them over by not paying their pay check by not buying these phone services. The company is owned by carlos slim in mexico and he makes money by phone cards and phone "services" well its time to not put money in his pocket.
They will have you doing all the calling and troubleshooting, everytime their is a problem with their service you have to delete all the information and apps in your phone. They had me calling back with something they called a ticket number, and call back to foreign people who dont talk english. I mean they do talk english but they just dont understand you its like they make english sounding words from their mouth but they dont get the context. Very super frustrating. The company looks like they are very flexible but they can be very strict once you are deep into your phone number and you have bought one of their phones. If you want to gamble at this "service" do so with one of the free phones they give away with a phone card, but dont rely on it working i got three of these phones; one looked pristine and nice but you couldnt get internet, you could only make phone calls on it very frustrating.
Just remember when you run into trouble with your phone service at this company their is no one to turn to its like starring a wall in an empty room.

I absolutely agree!!!! I think that Straight Talk should just shut the operation DOWN tho!! Its so not worth the hassel. As for Walmart(the greedy comp it is) they should be ashamed to selling such crap. But in the end the customer is NOT Walmarts first priority(the associates dont even want to deal with ST! They tell you to call and fix it!) and Straight Talks first priority is clearly not their company policy. Why should either of them give a D**N, they arent losing anything! They are actually doubling their money/profits(we continue to buy the ST PP cards and A LOT of us have "upgraded" to more expensive phones, to try and fix the problem) because most of us here have tried to stuck it out (to some degree) in the hopes of a problem being solved(Miracle needed). But long story short: Walmart and Straight Talk really dont care whether and issues gets resolved or not.......they still are getting their money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the lamest most unprofessional phone service ever. They are a joke. Problem after problem every single F@*#! month. I only speak English so guess I'm screwed when it comes to customer service. Thanks for this boycott. they are just like the rest of the theives out there...(etc.Obama,IRS)

They are the WORST customer service ever! They sent me TWO defective phones, and will not give a refund until I send them in, without giving me any written receipt or contract that they will send the money. Their are MANY stories on the internet about them getting the phones, but never refunding money, or giving replacements.
I was on with their customer service for FOUR STRAIGHT HOURS with no resolution. And that was just for ONE of the two phones!
1) "Directory Assistance" is voice prompted, ad -driven, and frequently incorrect.
2) Elaboration on the above: It is IMPOSSIBLE to get live Directory Assistance when the other fails. (I confirmed this via Customer Service.)
3) Internet is good for the ads, but doesn't seem to work for anything else.
4) Customer Service is typically a 10-25minute wait, sometimes more. (Despite many other reports, my experience has been that most agents are courteous, just limited in ability to assist to resolution...)
Straitgh Talk service is terrible....They double bill your debit card then make you chase your money for a few days before they give it back. They interupt your service without reason..with no remorse. I plan on changing cell providers as soon as I can..
Ps..try hiring people in your custome service department that can speak and understand english.................!
