DROPPED FOR CATASTROPHE CLAIM

I had both my homeowners & my car insurance through State Farm.
I had a catastrophe claim in June of 2009
I had high wind damage that tore not only my siding but my insulation off of my house in May 2011, I got struck by lightening, which killed the power on the entire right side of my home which my sump pump is operated on that side, we had severe rain, flooding waters that entire week in May 2011. I have complete coverage, it took 5 calls before i got an agent to contact me from May until the end of June when he came out he re-assured me that I wouldn't be dropped for a catastrophe claim, gee six weeks later I was dropped! Not only is it costing me high rates because I was dropped but I lost my multi-car discount and that is costing me an additional 17.86 a month on my car insurance.
Tell me why we pay homeowners insurance premiums every month if we can't use it in times of catastrophe? It isn't like I caught my own house on fire or let my bathtub overflow and destroy my house, it was high wind damage and lightening which I have no control over,I want everyone to know to run from STATE FARM INURANCE THEY ARE SO NOT WHO THEY PROFESS TO BE...DOES A "GOOD NEIGHBOR" ROB FROM YOU AND THEN SCREW YOU OVER IN THE END? I THINK NOT!!! THEY ROBBED ME BECAUSE I PAID MY PREMIUMS AND WAS TOLD BY THEIR OWN ADJUSTER IN FRONT OF WITNESSES THAT I WOULD NOT BE DROPPED BECAUSE OF A CATASTROPHE CLAIM....
PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD~ I AM PUTTING THIS ON EVERY WEBSITE I CAN TO HELP ANYONE ELSE FROM GETTING SCREWED BY STATE FARM

Insurance is a criminal orginization

They're in bed with the government. The government passes laws requiring that you get insurance and in turn the politicians get little "perks" from the lobiests.

When you actually use your insurance that you pay for every month, they jack up your rates to re-coup the cost and MUCH more with a "catastrophic claim" fee added to your premium. Its a complete load of BS.

Dropped Me after more than30 years

State farm should pull some of it's practices on their company song-singing employees.

They dropped me in NY for living too close to a canal after Katrina. If I hadn't given them $100,000 over the years, I didn't give 'em a dime.

The reason for this being that they might have to pay a claim one day.

WHY WAS I SO STUPID AS TO THINK THAT IS THE BUSINESS?

Just took my cars from them, and my FLOOD is NEXT!!
