Boycott of Skype

Would be nice to see more people reading this...I'll pass it along.

I have had nothing buth problems with Skype since they were purchased by Microsoft. I'ts been corrupted 3 times and I had enough. I will never use them again. And trying to contact anyone in Skype support is an extreme joke. I can only imagine that their support team is located somewhere on the planet Jupiter.

As for Microstoft, after having a hotmail account with them for years, recently I was using that account longer than normal, and they blocked me because of suspicious activity on my own account. Of course, it is going through 1,000 loops of BS to re-activate my account and access it again. Luckily, I had everything accomplished and will choose not to re-activate this account.

Everyone should know by now what MSN did by selling us out to the government.  And if you don't know, they have allowed the NSA, etc...to access our accounts easily and that includes Skype. 

Skype is part of MSN now...and don't forget what they did. As well as Yahoo and Google. Don't be fooled, because of government pressure, they can and do read your private emails, watch your videos chatting and anything else they want to do.  The right to privacy is gone. And we allow it to happen.  Keep the fight people!

God forbid you need any assistance or have problem with Skype, they ignore ou like you don't exist. They are happy to take your money, buthey don't want u to use ther system. I forgot my password four months ago and have requested another one at least 20 times and I Got ignored. Skype is the single biggest ripoff on the Internet.

I paid a year for group video alone.  My grandson has leukemia.  It is encouraging for him (2 years old) and us to be able to see each other when he is in the hospital.  He is in Pensacola.  We are in Georgia and our other daughter is in Missouri.  It was our was of being together. 

Not only do I not have group video, I am no longer premium.  I no longer have access to any, ANY, ANY, ANY!!!!! CUSTOMER SUPPORT!  CHEATING FRAUDS! NO NOTICE! NO NOTHING!  TALK ABOUT BEING COWARDS!  I guess that's one way to hide out from angry customers!

This company is fraudulent. They have debited my account three times for 13.95. I did not authorize these transaction at all.

I suggest anyone trying to get an answer from Skype might try here they are responsible for their servers.

I too was debited from my account $10.00 every few days on 4 occasions, which the $10.00

was a promoted offer of 180 days of skype service for $10.00, however when emailed they never returned an email

and the company below I contacted, I told them I would

like a call back asap, because there has been fraud committed with skype, they said they would have someone call me back, of course no call,

so when I went to my bank and had the account number blocked they cancelled the service even though

they had already received at least $40.00

SCAM!

this company is crap. They need to be suied!  The new webpage they have is terrible. They have my money on credit and they take it I dont use it. Then They dont even make it easy to know how to make calls on the new webpage and then I cannot contact these crooks!  LETS CONTACT THE BETTER BUSINESS BUEAU ON THIS CRAP COMPANY.

I, too, have had two $10 charges from www.skype.com show up on my credit card account. I've never had an account with them. Where did they get my card number? I called the bank number on the back of my card as soon as I saw the charges and filed a dispute. The first one has been refunded from skype and I'm still waiting on the second. Something is very wrong with this company.

I have two charges on my bank debit account, I have never used skype in my life and can not reach anyone to dispute these charges. I now have had to cancel my debit card and get a new one to prevent any other charges. This company SUCKS!!!!!!!!

if you have fraud on your account call your credit card company, all Credit cards have 100% fraud protection.

This company is charging my credit card for services that were from someone taking stealing my credit card and now I cannot contact one person at this company. There is no contact number and when you go online to request support they require that you have an account. Well guess what! I don't have an account and if I do, its becasue someone else who took my card set it up, so I dont know what the account name or password would be. This is the most outrageous situation ever. I cannot believe a company that deals in online phone service does not have a contact number.
