The news Sears doesn't want the public to know about!
Sears holdings think tank decided to fire everyone nationwide inside of Kmart appliances before even getting any training in place for the replacements..
Many see the move as irrational and irresponsible especially since it was without notice and done in a clandestine way. One wonders why corporate never gave the Kmart appliance staff a last chance pitch to turn around the figures and the proper support they needed to succeed.
Kmart appliances had no advertising dollars.
all of the appliances were located in the back corner of the store. Store managers would use the appliance staff for trucks and shopping carts every day
and not one store manager that we know of was reprimanded for poor results.
Behind every worker is a family member
maybe a sick father or little daughter
in my case a newborn and now nobody in our house has a job to no fault of our own but the internal politics of Sears Holdings Join the Boycott
and tell Sears holdings enough with the poor treatment of workers!

I can't sahre this to facebook, I guesss I'll just copy and paste ther adress? :)
I am an appliance sales associate and I can say that the company has jolted everyone within appliances. I am still employed as of now but have been harrassed daily since the beginning of the summer. I should consider myself lucky I guess because I still have a job. For many years I have been a part time associate and averaged around 20-30 hours a week. Since June and more so in the past two weeks I have received from 7 to 12 hours a week. Managements solution to my -0.2% PA metric from last month was that if I am not above parity every day that I work (two 3.5 hour days) that I will not recieve any hours the next week. Awesome!! I have been with the company for over 12 years and this is how they treat thier associates. They have lost sight of what the real important factor is in the retail game; the customer.
