Boycott of Sears

Bought a furnace a year ago...    Spilling oil and caught fire today, less than 3 weeks after their 'tech' came to do annual maintenance (which did not even include filter and injector change OR clean up???)

90 minutes of various calls being transferred thru their automated system, no one can help.  Unlike what their salesperson said, they do not actually have 24/7 emergency service and now have to wait until tomorrow when they claim they will call to see WHEN they can get someone out.

Deceptive sales practices, broken or outright false promises and non-existent customer service.

While I will remain a customer for Craftsman Tools and the like, I would recommend that anyone needing services, appliances and such should deal with a local company who will actually care about you and appreciate your business.

How they botched my roofing.  I always thought Sears were rock-solid reliable.  Boy have things changed.

STAY AWAY FROM SEARS !!

Heard that Sears is now selling pornographic DVDs online. Boycott Sears until they straighten out completely.

My father was employed by Sears for most of my childhood and naturally Kenmore-Sears merchandise figured prominently in my life.  Until---Sears sold me a washing machine that propmtly began to grow black mold in it, just for the enjoyment of my respiratory system.  The store would do nothing to help me and I had to bring legal action to obtain some satisfaction.  So much for "satisfaction guaranteed or your money back."  Just don't buy warranties and don't buy Sears.
