Boycott Description

Purchased top of line Kenmore Elite appliances for new home.  Within a 1 1/2 yrs, the compactor cost $247 to repair and now the pull out freezer door on the Kenmore Elite has fallen off.  We have a rope tied around it.  We are a retired couple and are in shock.  Sears will do NOTHING.  They say all parts today are plastic and will easily break.  They don't tell you this when you are making a $10,000 purchase.  We feel so very violated!

Boycott Demands

We feel that Sears should repair the freezer door.  We bought top of the line and the freezer door should not have broken in use of just 1 1/2 years.  For us, we will live in fear of not knowing when something else is going to happen.  We bought a refrigerator, 2 ovens, garbage compator, garbage disposal, microwave, dishwasher, cook top and a washer and dryer!

I too have a fridge that is only 2 years oold and the freeezer door busted, then the actual refridgerter stopped working altogether. I am so upset because first of all we paid a lot of money to buy the refridgerater. It took us over1 year to save up for it.  Im so upset that I have to stop typing this email.

We purchased a side by side refridge with an ice maker. The ice maker bbroke 103 days ago, but the warrentee is only for 90 days. WE called to complain about paying over 300 dolars to fix the little plastic wheel and why should we pay again for this poorly made produt . The refride is only 4 yeasr old  and cost more the 1400 dollors. Terrible coutomer service at serad , the  customer service representativer would not even give her last name.

WARRANTY

I purchased a fisher payel dryer and bought the warranty and took hour to talk to someone and telling me going to take 8 dsys just for someone to come out here and then if they have to order part another week.  so i am supposd to spend more money to go to laundtymat and wash my clothes.  DO NOT BUY WAARANTY FORM SEARS  IT IS A RIP OFF.  DO NOT ANYTHING FROM SEARS THEY ARE NOT LIKE THEY USED TO BE.  HEY CEO AND DIRECTORS I BET YOU LOVE SEEING THIS SITE UP.  YOUR SERVICE SUCKS AND YOUR WARRANTY SUCKS AND NEVER AGAIN WILL I SPEND MONEY FROM SEARS.  I WANT BACK MY 100 I PAID FOR THE WARRANTY AND I WILL TAKE MY BUSINESS SOMEONE ELSE
