Boycott of Sanyo

Even if your TV fails under warranty their customer service is long on promises and short on delivery.  Okayed an authorized repair service to repair but haven't sent the part after 3 weeks.  Customer service people are liars and I will never purchase another Sanyo product again.  Boycott Panasonic too  they are stupid enough to purchase Sanyo.

I purchase a sanyo 14 months ago it died last week and when I opened it. Up I found glue on some of the parts. bad product don't buy. 

I purchased this Sanyo television from the Walmart for $695 in Manchester Connecticut.the TV worked for 9 months until one dayit went black.I return to television to the Walmart customer service representative. I was told to take this television to a repair shop and they don't fix or replace broken televisions at the store. they refused to reimburse me or take in exchange for the television . I follow their instructions went to a repair store . For the diagnosis was $160. The tv needed a new motherboard. I was told by the repair store the repair would cost over $250. I don't feel the repair and the diagnosis was sensible so opted not to repair the television.  I feel Walmart customer service is lacking and their product return policy should be revised.

23 months, dead. $375 to fix. Never again. 

paid 1000.00 for a tv that quit working after only 2 years! Walmart and sanyo will not back tv!!!

Purchased tv from HELL(walmart) worked 11 months, brought back to store, after complaining about lack of response from store, they agreed to replace with same model. They had one shipped out for exchange. Thant one lasted 3 months, now out of warranty. I tell everyone who will listen to me to not buy a TV from Walmart and NEVER PURCHASE A SANYO!!! 

I would have to say it needs to be a double boycott on Sanyo, and Walmart. Its seems to be that anything bpoght at Wakmart (regardless of Sanyo or any brand) seems to fail and total junk. Its interesting that Sanyo, Toshiba, and Pioneer sold at Walmart say assembled in Mexico. The same 3 brands at Kmart, Sears, Target, and Best Buy say Assembled in China with U.S. and China parts.

I purchased a 48 inch TV 18 months ago that will only stay on for 5-10 minutes IF it comes on at all.  When calling the TV customer service #, it stated that they are only open two days per week.  How are customers supposed to get assistance when this flimsey product falls apart?  It's like Sanyo doesn't want to give good products and services and it;s like they don't expect us to come looking help.

They are like the bum on the corner selling Rolex watches from the inside of his coat... I guess at this point, we should both know what to expect. 

We bought a Sanyo DP 42840 from Walmart- and after 2 yrs and 2 months it just died.  We do not have cable, it is hooked up to a blue ray player and we watch movies as a family- no video games- not left on for hours and hours.  It just died- repair estimate- $550.00  MORE THAN THE TV COST ORIGINALLY.... SANYO's customer service is a joke.  Walmart had no response.  SANYO builds and Walmart sells total crap.

Purchased this TV with extended warranty- TV lasted 3 years . TV failed 1 month after extended warranty expired.  Lousy product for the price paid

STOP SHOPPING AT WALMART. THEY SELL CRAPPY PRODUCTS AND NEITHER THEY OR SANYO WILL STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT. MY PARENTS FINALLY JUMPED INTO THE FLATSCREEN WORLD WITH A SANYO AFTER OVER 15 years of 35" older tvs that have never had a problem and still work. A TV SHOULD LAST AT LEAST 10 YEARS OR MORE. WITH SO MANY SANYO COMPLAINTS I HAVE READ ON THE NET IT LOOKS LIKE SANYO HAD RIGGED THE TVS TO FAIL AFTER A CERTAIN TIME SO PEOPLE WILL HAVE TO BUY ANOTHER ONE! CRAZY! CLASS ACTION SUIT IN THE WORKS! STAND BUY.

The funny thing about it is Wal-Mart has discontinued this item what a rip-off.  LET"S SUE SANYO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

Peope please dont buy sanyo camera it will stop working ! I am disappointed , and I want a refund. Cime get this piece of junk and give me back my money . WARNING: PLEASE DON'T BUY SANYO PRODUCTS .   My vivitar camera last longer than this crap and it was only 40 bucks and last 5 yrs. I paid 124.00 for a piece of junk and a couple of months of use.  I am so upset!
