I WILL NEVER USE PRICELINE AGAIN.In July I transferred a plane ticket to a different date. I put the charges of $210 on my fiances MC. Priceline told me that the transaction was fine and everything was taken care of.
A week later I saw that instead of charging the card I gave them they illegally went into my bank account (that I had originally booked with) and charged my VISA overdrafting my account.
When I called to complain I had to explain my situation to 5 different people before I was able to talk to a customer care rep. They assured me that they would refund the money to my secondary checking account (because I had to suspend my VISA due to the illegal activity)
A week after this I find out that my secondary bank account is now negative...instead of refunding the $210 to the secondary bank account they WITHDREW $210 and transferred it to my VISA!!! They DID NOT refund ANY of my money instead moved my own money to a different account.
When I called in a rage I once again had to explain my case to 3 different people before being allowed to speak with a customer care rep.
At NO POINT was I able to speak with anyone that could do ANYTHING to righten the situation. They refused to let me speak with a manager and assured me that it would be taken care of in the next 3-4 business days.
My bank account is STILL negative and I have yet to hear back from ANYONE.
I am now in the process of hiring a lawyer to sue the company for illegally taking money from my bank account on 2 separate occasions...
DO NOT USE PRICELINE!!!
They are nothing but thieves and if you do have any kind of problem you will have one hell of a time attempting to speak with anyone that can actually help you.
Instead you will be bounced from one non-english speaking rep to another.
These people do not know how to handle any situation that is not mapped out on the computer in front of them....half of the time they are on the phone with you they will tell you that they apologize for the problem while not actually understanding WHAT THE PROBLEM IS!!
I have never been so frustrated and disgusted with one company and refuse to understand how they stay in business while employing people who do not even work or live in this COUNTRY!!!
The language barrier is atrocious!!!
Not only do they speak poor English and have trouble understanding things no matter how many times you explain them there is absolutely NO REAL compassion for whatever wrongs the company has done.
My advice to ANYONE looking to book a plane ticket is to do so with another company.

How Priceline stays in business is beyond me... I learned the hard way. Do yourself a favor and avoid using them at all cost... and tell everyone you know to do the same.
I will not be using priceline.com or National Car Rental in the future as price line did not let me know there would be extra charges for my wife to drive, making the rate nearly double. Most car rental companies I have rented with include the spouse as an extra driver for free. I have been told by priceline.com that my booking is non refundable so, in affect, they just doubled my rental car rate.
This is bad business practice on the part of priceline.com and gouging extra money from customers on the part of National Car Rental.
Spouse should drive at no extra charge as most car rental companies already know.
Using Priceline I bid $19/day X 14 days on a rental car on 4/16/2010 at
10:30a.m. I clicked the accept with no cancellation button with the amount
of $266.00 displayed to proceed to the next page, here a total due
displayed $500.41! The only explanation on the page was $234.41 for 'Taxes
and Fees'. I bid and accepted $266.00, not $500.41. Started calling and
spent 2.5 hours on the phone with three representatives and my bank trying
to get the charge reversed to no avail. The last customer rep from
priceline did verify the situation and commented that I had a 'good' chance
at getting a refund, but said it would take 3-5 business days and could not
give me a reference or call back #. Another issue occurred when went to
pick up the car, with the idea of disputing the difference later. Alamo
refused me rental, because I did not have both a round trip ticket and
credit card, (used a debit card). I explicitly chose the option of the
priceline page that stated, 'If using a debit card check here'. Sum this
up as a very bad experience that may qualify as deceptive trade practice.
There are NO decision makers reachable by phone, they all say, sorry I can't
make any changes is there anything else I can do for you'. I go to Hertz,
get a car for $400/2 weeks, total time in and out less than 15 minutes. Way
to go Hertz!
They booked me on the wrong flight! I called back They could not understand what the problem was not matter how slow I spoke They ket reading from a script. They had no supuervisor. They are horrible!!! I had to miss my flight because they sent me to the WRONG destination!! THey refused to Help. Ihave reported them to the BBB
I have been dealing with PL.com for 6 months for the same thing. I was told I had a credit and now I can't use it..They are nothing but a bunch of crooks. I am going to do everything in my power to let people know exactly how shady they really are.

i think this is how they do business... scamming money out of honest hardworking people.

I have used priceline to reserve a car. They in turn rewarded me by charging my Mastercard 99.05 along with the rental car company charging the my 75.86 for the rental car. I have been fighting with my credit card company for 2months trying to get this resolved and yes I to have gotten over the limit charges from this fraudluent charge they have placed on my credit card too.
Priceline has not responded to this boycott yet.
