Boycott of PayPal

Paypal has no clear customer service, available, at-least for us here in Australia.. I couldn't even locate a phone number to call some one regarding my problem in their website. This is as a customer.

As a software developer, they have worst API solutions. 100 different versions and types of API to do the same thing, without proper documentation in any one of them. Different people have different ideas on how it works, but it clearly lacks a clear guideline and documentation.

Paypal sucks bigtime in many grounds. Paypal is arrogant and deserves to be boycotted!

I am furious with this 21 day money hold on PayPal. I sold an item on march 10, shipped it and provided tracking number. Item was delivered on march 15th and buyer left feedback on same day... Next day money were still on hold, however their policy states clearly  that money will be realsed if buyer leaves positive feedback (done), or delivery is confimed (done)... Called them and they released money right away... It sShould have been done day earlier and without me making a call.....

This hold on my money, and I have been a seller for a long time..Spoke to Hector in customer service and he was very rude, refused to give me a supervisor telling me there is no supervisor there tonight.. Hector says to avoid the 21 day hold, I would have to have the customer give me a excellent review to release my money before 21 days. This sound so crazy and unprofessional. How can they hold my money.. what rights has they gained over our money. and customer service is the worst. I can not make a customer give a review

I purchaed virtual tokens from Slotomania, $200 US, went through Paypal, never got my tokens, put in a dispute, after a month waiting for a decision and Paypal having conformation that the money was received by Slotomania, I got an e-mail from them yesterday saying that they would not refund my money as virtual tokens are not a tangible item, therefore they are not guaranteed. I want my money back, any suggestions?

One of worst rip off organization!  After hours of work and two customer rep Greg #45694 and Jeremy #42130, I cannot close my account and no refund money in my account. 

I just had a run-in with this for the first time.  I've been using them for many many years, but one small little thing in which I admit I made a mistake, then fixed, they are still refusing to lift the hold.  They said up to 180 days.  So now I have $200 that I really really need, sitting in their hands refusing to give it to me.  I thought this was illegal when it first came up, but now looking around and after talking to them, I find it just appalling they can legally get away with this.

Corporations are robots, not people. Any other local business would have understood my mistake as human and moved on, happy to continue my long time business with them, which has probably been thousands of dollars at bare minimum. No, they don't care, they're robots.

This human is speaking out so other humans don't get hurt in the future too.

It seems if you get a low rating on your DSR Ebay is going to have the right to hold your $$$ (via paypal) for up to 3 days post mailing.  If any of your buyers do not rate you TOPS you are in jeopardy.  I don't think this is legal.  In our case it seems some buyers didn't like our S&H fees (which were plainly stated on auction) but yet we have EXCELLENT FEEDBACK from everyone!  Everyone happy that their items arriving super fast and in perfect condition/good packaging!!!   Yet Ebay now wants to penalize us for someone giving us a lower rating for something they knew they were bidding on?  Overall between Ebay & Paypal our fees we pay to them is about 15% an item (and that doesn't include the actual listing fees!).

(Can you believe this crap. And they're getting away with it) Check out the 32nd email I got from them. Yes, I said 32nd. I sold 32 items and they are holding my money for every one of them until 3 days after proof of delivery and/or up to 21 days. They are not paying me any interest on this money that's mine and there holding it.

PayPal even holds money that we have recieved from customers which we regularly do business with. We have a business account with paypal including the virtual terminal and they continually hold funds for things processed through that terminal. Any other Merchant account would release funds when they post at the end of the day. It appears that PayPal is holding the money to enable them to draw the interest on our money.  This needs to be put to a stop!!!!
