Nissan Doesn't stand behind their product - 7/3/15 11:02 AM

Nissan Doesn't stand behind their product

It is a ridiculous joke that Nissan is fully aware of their faulty fuel gauges in the '05 - '08 pathfinders, frontiers, and xterras and their only answer is to recall a small amount of them and have a bs minor warranty extension to all the rest.

I bought my '06 Pathfinder used and found out the gas gauge didn't work like hundreds or thousands of other people by way of the car stalling in the middle of the road on my wife and two children. Found out there was a recall, and called a Nissan dealership to be told that my VIN wasn't included in it. Called Nissan consumer affairs to be asked what I wanted Nissan to do. I explained that I wanted the faulty part fixed. They told me to take it to a dealership and have it diagnosed and I could possibly have it included in the recall if it was the same issue. Did that and doesn't $110 like a sucker just to be retold about the BS warranty extension that my car is out of..... And told that they won't discuss the recall with me.

Nissan the new Yugo

False advertising and a company staffed by morons and retards.  The worst POS to roll off an asembly line.  Anyone who works for a Nissan dealer should be made to wear a mask.  Theives and Liars selling a POS.

Nissan model 'RECall' - 2/23/15 6:34 AM

Nissan model 'RECall'

170 thousand Pathfinders and Infiniti models recalled.  468 thousand Nissan Rogues recalled. 52 thousand nissans with air bag problems recalled.  Proof enough that this manufacturer cannot build a vehicle without problems.  Nissan continues to ignore my MPG problems with the POS 2015 Altima and I can see why since they are glutted with recalls.  Incompetence and arrogance by this maker of garbage will destroy itself from within.  Perhaps Nissan will send out new nametags to those of us who suffer with this junk.  All Nissans should have the name 'RECALL' gluded to the deck lid.

Junk. That is what nissan manufacturers. They do not stand behinfd the warranty and they will not even force the dealer to fix this bucket of trash.  They claim this Altima will get 27/38 mph yet the best I can get is 24 mpg.  They won't even try to help you once you've purchased or leased one of these garbage cans.

Nissan Frontier - Faulty Fuel Sensor - 1/27/15 8:28 AM

Nissan Frontier - Faulty Fuel Sensor

No more Nissan vehicles for me or my family! I have a 2007 Nissan Frontier with about 70K miles on it. Recently, the gas gauge started acting strange and the Check Engine light came on. Our local dealer (Buckeye Nissan) wants $713 to repair. After researching more, I learned that THOUSANDS of others have this same issue once the vehicle reaches 70K+ miles. Now, I can completely understand that a company can't warrant a vehicle forever. However, if the problem results from faulty parts or something in the manufacturing process, THEY SHOULD BE ACCOUNTABLE! This problem isn't occuring due to abnormal wear or abuse! What is it that the consumer can possibly be doing to cause the sensor to break? Why doesn't Nissan respond with a positive outcome for the many consumers effected by this issue? BOYCOTT NISSAN!

2009 Murano Joke

Nissan customer since 1990, but never again.  $40,000 2009 Murano with 790000 miles blew a rear end.  Nissan would not even work with me on a cost effective repair.  $2600 repair.  traded for an Acura RDX the next week.  Good luck Nissan customers........hehehehe

2006 Xterra purchased new

Its true, Nissan has an identified defect and tried to cover it up. so what is new??? Basically I did not know that this car company was so messed up. Who would as most dont dig into the corporate aspects.

Nissan is a very poor excuse for a Japanese car company. They have no honor and really should just go move to China so that their cheap crap cars would be expected. However, China is fast becoming a technological giant and Nissan would again have to find another place to go as their crappy cars will always suck.

NO HONOR! Just junk cars that have little to no resale.

If you want quality, buy Honda, Toyota (yes they are still better than Nissan), Mitsubishi, Subaru, Hundai and Kia. Ford is the only domestic that I have not had to scream as it left me stranded. The others have not been good to me.

Nissan, you are terrible as a car company and even though you have been able to sell your crap, does not mean you are good at it.

2004 Armada - 1/5/14 5:22 PM

2004 Armada

By far the worst car I ever owned was a 2004 Armada. I had it for three years (2006-09), and it literally cost more in repairs that the purchase price.  Radio, Heater, catalytic converter, alternator, AC, Liftgate, window, and when I traded it in, I cleared out 4 engine codes to get a Toyota.

Forget going to the dealership, because a Nissan Dealership employee is most likely a reject from another dealer. The warranty is useless, unless you have a good attorney.

So I say boycot NISSAN. They are the Chrysler of Japan.

I've had a Lexus Four years now, and my only repair was a headlight.

Nissan Altima Won't Start

2009 Nissan Altima w/34K - lease expires shortly. Walser Nissan. Great car to this point but won't start (ignition system issue?). We've tried everything suggested and unfortunately the 3 yr bumper-bumper warranty ended a week ago. Service advises towing from EP to Burnsville at $XXX but neither towing or repairs are covered. What to do? Let it sit and maybe they will come and pick up their car? We don't need to take the boat out of the garage until next Spring. Let's take a vote. In fact, let's go viral - I'm neither happy or satisfied!

free wash from hell

We purchashed a Nissan from Anderson Nissan in Asheville  N.C. I will never go back threre again!. We took the car back for a service and was offered a free hand wash wish we at 1st, said no thanks but they kept insisting--IT's FREE-so after a whilewe said okay since we were early for our appointment. When we got our car back they had put the window down and had washed the car!!! How stupid can you be!! We ask if they thought we used clear glass. It was so wet water was running out of the speakers on the door, water come up out of the seat when you touched it, the back seat was wet, it was wet under the seat, the dashboard was wet, how can you not know you have wet the inside of a car???? After we said something they tookthe car around back for about an hour then brought it back with a peice of plactic over the seat and said that was the best they could do. We drive 90 miles one way  for this kind of treatment-I don't think so. Anderson Nissan can't understand why we are upset with their service. The car was taken to another dealership that tried to fix the issue-but it is not fixed--the car smells musty and moldy--of which my wife is allergic to-they cause her to have migraines. Anderson Nissan wanted us to come in to talk out our issues with them-they want to know why we are still upset with them--they are to dumb to realize its because they have NOT FIXED MY CAR!!!!

BUYER BEWARE!!!!

they suck you in...offer you deals that don't come through.  they are slick.  not at all with "customer 1st " attitude.  bought a 2012 versa SL hb for $21,000.  3 months later found out that they only offer $14,500 for its value.  that is OVER $6000 loss in car value in JUST a 3 month period.

dumping the car quickly was our only option.  woodmen nissan in colorado springs screwed us up front & in the end.

the sucky part about it is in the short time we had it...it was a piece of junk.  talk about interior pieces falling apart!!!

Default airbag / danger of getting seriously injured

I just had a big accident with Nissan Murano 2009. Both me and my son got injured, The airbag did not deployed. I called Nissan consumer. Spoke to very rude person called " Trish Page" . She was telling me the seat belt is the imoportant thing and I should be grateful that I am not dead!! She refused to give me her supervisor name and number and said " That is how we handle things in Nissan ". This is a bigger thing than Toyotal. You will hear more in the news.

Disrespect

On 27/10/2011 I purchased a brand new Nissan Sentra at the Dara São Conrado dealership on Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  Less than one week after purchasing my car I began to hear a metal noise when driving.  The noise continued, so on 07/11/2011 I took my Sentra to the Dara dealership where the employee Mr. Alfredo confirmed the noise. They were unable to receive my car because their service center was full. They were only able to receive my car on 14/11/2011.

They returned my Sentra two days later claiming that the noise was gone . However less than a week passed and again I heard the same noise. Once more I took the car to the Dara dealership where Mr. Alfredo confirmed the noise. The car was repaired.

Due to a private problem I was unable to use my car from 30/11/11 to last weekend. On Saturday 10/12/11 I was driving in the Barra neighborhood when my car came to a complete stop, apparently for no reason.  My insurance company towed the car again to the Dara dealership. After much insistence Mr. Alfredo contacted me and I was informed that the problem was a flaw in the gearbox.  On Monday  12/12/11 I tried reaching the store manager Mr. Jarco Paes but the receptionist said he was unavailable. On the next day I called Mr. Alfredo to ask when my car would be fixed and if other customers were having the same issue. He told me he could not precise when my car would be fixed and that no other customers were having the same issues. He also gave me the customer support number.   When I questioned him if I had bad luck with Nissan cars he laughed and said yes.

I called the Nissan Customer Support and opened the call #  1- 39905522 and spoke to Mrs. Daniela Germano, who informed me that Nissan would contact me.  Today, 14/12/11 Ms Laura informed me that they still don’t know when my car will be fixed.

Today 16/12/2011 I called again the Nissan Customer Support and after wait in line for more than 10 minutes Ms Carla Falzoi told me that they still do not have any ideia when they will fix my “new car”

After that I called the dealer and I spoke to Mr. Alfredo that told me that my car is at BO ( I do not no what that means but he said that this was bad news), I suppose that I will not have my car back this year, and of course I got much disappointed with Nissan.

The Nissan Customer Service called me the 16/12/2011 and said that they got the repair stuff and will take 3 days to it arrived in Nissan Dealear???

I would like to add that my car was used for less than 1.000 km. It seems that I have purchased a brand new car with a manufacturing defect.  It seems that the Sentra has serious flaws on its gearbox.

FUEL SYSTEM RECALL

NISSAN NORTH AMERICA, INC. CONSUMER AFFAIRS ARE NOT CONCERN WITH OUR SAFETY. INVOLVED IN A VEHICLE ACCIDENT DUE TO MAL FUNCTION OF FUEL GAUGE REGISTERING GAS WHEN TANK WAS EMPTY. STALLED ON ROADWAY AND WAS REARED ENDED BY MOTORIST WHO WAS ON THE PHONE. BIG TRACTOR TRAILERS AND OTHER AVOIDED HITTING ME. IMAGINE IF A TRACTOR TRAILER WOULD HAVE HIT ME? CATASTROPHIC ending for me. JIM LAND didn't acknowledge my accident, physical and mental distress when he decline assistance. A $250 service credit was issued, but no Nissan Dealer in El Paso Texas wants to honor it? I'm still insisting they acknowledge the cause of my accident, physical and mental distress this has caused me. I will be Jim Land's thorn on his side.
