Company made mistake... acknowledged it... refunded ETF. The only problem was it took over a month of me arguing with them and repeating my problem with Customer service. Oh well.No further action is permitted in relation to this boycott including joining and commenting.

Waive Early Termination FeesBoycott Description
Prior to 11/12, I was living in a house, subscribed to NetZero DSL service that I was paying for. On 11/12, I was forced to leave due to a messy family situation. I would not be paying for the DSL service for people that kicked me out. When I contacted NetZero to cancel my service, they said that I had to pay a $150 Early Termination Fee (ETF) -- they don't care about the situation and that I didn't leave because I wanted to.
I've had NetZero DSL since 10/2009, so my original 12 month contract is up; but I upgraded to a faster DSL in July, thus (according to NetZero) resetting my contract period and reinstating my ETF.
I had an issue to Verizon DSL back in 2005, but they waived the ETF because I moved (voluntarily), but to an area that didn't have DSL service.
I now live in an area that doesn't have access for DSL service. So for several reasons, the ETF should be waived.
Boycott Demands
Waive my early termination fee because the early termination was nothing that I could control.Other companies waive early termination fees and, if you are still required to pay an ETF, the companies will prorate them for the amount of time remaining on the contract
