Boycott of MajicJack

Customer service is Trash!!!! Plus you loose connection if you stay on the line for 90 mins.

I changed my number for $10.00. I tried paying with my VISA. Website said my transaction was not authorised. I proceeded to pay with my Master card for the same transaction, the transaction was processed and days after I found out that my Visa was also billed. The reps there are useless they keep telling me that I was charged once. My bank is doing an investigation.

I purchased 4 of these MagicJacks over a year ago and after 30 days they all quit working. They said I never paid for one of them even though I did. I was so intent on getting them to work (I had given them as gifts to family members) I told them I would pay the $39.95. I kept adding my charge card information to my website in my account and it would not retain the information. Everytime I went it to my accout the charge card info was gone. I had a lengthy chat online and they couldn't figure out how to fix it. The support is horrible and the items just quit working. I have talked to several people who have told me the same. I apologize if this is the wrong 'boycott' subject but it was the only one I could find close to my issue. Bottom line, DO NOT PURCHASE MAGICJACK!!!

What idiots! MagicJack NEVER said it was free. What they DO say is when you purchase it for $39.95 or whatever, that the first year is free. AFter that it's $20 a year. They are very explicit about this.

You are an idiot to start a boycott over a non-issue.
