Boycott of MajicJack

Signed up for 2nd year last night on line.  This am checked Mastercard online and there are 3 charges pending for $41.82. 

I renewed only once online, but responded 3 times to an email sent to me that indicated if you wanted any changes on the order to update changes within 1hour (this was at 1145pm, Sat, if weekday I wouldn't have been online).

I went to link within email to update order and it was a screenshot of order, but nowhere could you UPDATE anything on the order.  This is why I sent 3 emails to make sure question I had regarding change was hopefully answered.

But no, instead I get 3 seperate charges on MC.  I called MC and they reported dispute, but must wait until charges are posted, then we must call or email dispute line.  Hopefully they can correct.

Phone is working this am though, hopefully will for 1 year.

The company owners are crooks! They are out to steal your money! Auto renewal was activated without my being aware of this

I have gotten good services from magic jack but just found it very very difficult to renew the subscription/renewal.  so I need a little help

I have to agree.  I've used the MJ for nearly a year and have had one issue after another.  I cannot call Alaska from WA state, says I have to buy prepaid minutes....tech support is seriously first level support that any mid level pc user would be able to do without the frustration of a 'chat' session with someone in a outsourcing call center.

I asked for a supervisor and a ticket number, she said I can 'chat' back tomorrow and ask for a supervisor..WTH does that mean?! 

I'm going  back to Wave phone, will pay more, but when I want to make or receive a call, I bet it goes through!

really bummed about this and yep, let's save others from the frustration!!! 

THIS COMPANY SHOULD NEVER HAVE EXISTED!!!! THE TECH SUPPORT SUCKS!!!!! THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE PROBLEM IS, THEY HAVE NO CLUE AS TO WHAT THEY ARE DOING.....I JUST WONDER WHAT IS THE OWNER DOING THRU ALL OF THIS OR DOES HE EVEN KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT WHO WE ARE......WE ARE HIS BIGGEST CONSUMERS!!!! WHERE IS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE???? 

I have an idea about why this company is getting so slack with customer service. As a one time investigator for fraud in the FCC, I know what is going on. Call me MJ number and I will tell you. 760-407-9914

I paid for the 5 year Last year in Feb 2011, now I have no service and they say I have to renew again.  WHAT?

My magicjack account expired on January 3, 2011. Although I have it set up for automatic renewal this failed to kick in. I have called the bill number the only "Real" person you talk to and I was told that an email would be sent to me to resolve the problem. That was on January 5, I am still waiting. I even did the live chat thing twice would the same response. An email would be sent. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SEND AN EMAIL.

MAGICJACK IS A SCAM....

My Daughter asked me to put her charge on my Visa. I did. That was in Nov.2010. In Jan.2010 I got my Visa bill and couldn't imagine why I had a Majic Jack charge. So,I disputed it. Meanwhile, while talking to my daughter (she used neighbors phone. Majic Jack Service cut off) she reminded me about my agreement. I apoligized to her and hung up to call Visa. Told them it was an honest charge they reinstated charge. Majic Jack said "We are only taking oders for new accounts from customers who have never used Majic Jack". They will not reinstate her account. I wouldn't have Majic Jack if it was the last phone service in this Universe. Majic Jack, you fall short of validation.

The only way to get the attention of this company is to harras them, through live chat.
