This location has gone to great lengths to resolve issues and has corrected their mistakes. They have done a very satisfactory job in doing so and have in return, made to experience more positive.

No further action is permitted in relation to this boycott including joining and commenting.

Holding Maaco liable for poor service

Boycott Description

Maaco deliberatly deceive their customers and provide poor quality service and have terrible business ethic. They do not care about their reputation and do nothing to resolve the disputs. Their deceit and lies about their warranty and their disclaimer need to be brought to light. Maaco of Roseville, Ca at 801 Riverside Avenue manager Tim and employee Alan have played customers time after time. They work together and they think they can say one thing, then turn around and say they have their disclaimer.

Boycott Demands

The boycott can be ended when they fix their mistake with their poor quality paint job. They need to admit they are responsible for the results of their carelessness, and see to it that it doesn't happen again. Consumers shouldn't be scammed into their trap and the disclaimer should only apply when it is relevant. I am not at fault for their inablity to properly mix, apply, sand or polish to acheive the right overall apperance and the disclaimer does not cover them in that situation. Own up to your faults and repair the paint job you messed up. Stop giving excuses for the issues that are ridiculous at best. I want what I paid for and I am done with being treated with disrespect. Stand behind your workmanship and recognize when it doesn't meet standards.

Dispute Update by Voxintegra

After lengthy back and forth with this particular Maaco, the manager Tim has informed me of his goal to ensure that each and every customer he receives is left happy and content with their service. Tim, who I honestly had confused this entire time with another employee at this location, has contacted me and offered to reinspect the vehicle and determine the best possible solution to resolve our issue and reach a compromise. I appreciate his willingness to assess the vehicle and the previously completed paint application and at this point, would even be willing to consider this Maaco location a cut above the rest. Will update when issue is resolved and end boycott on this Maaco and give kudos to a manager that exceeds expectations and cares about their customers.

This car had body work AND prep work done by someone else when it was brought in. It was already in primer. The customer was told that any imperfections would show and we COULD NOT be held liable. Customer then SIGNED all of the disclaimers saying this, and claimed she understood. The BBB and BAR AGREED with our company that the business could not be liable and that the imperfections were due to work not done by this Maaco. I personally (as the owner) have called this customer in an effort to resolve her complaints SEVERAL times and customer will not return calls or discuss with me.
