sexually harrassed after leaving LA Fitness
I went into LA fitness in May of 2013 with my young daughter to inquire about a membership. 2 weeks after leaving (and signing up somewhere else) I received a call from a sales team member who asked me out on a date. Apparently he saw me in there and looked up my cell phone number in the file. I firmly told him I wasn't interested. For the next 3-4 weeks I received disturbing text messages from an unfamiliar number with sexual comments, pornography and such. I repeatedly asked the texter to stop harrassing me and threatened to call the police. When I asked who it was he would give a different name each time. I finally got the sheriff involved because I was terrified not knowing who this person was and how he knew my name. ( I just moved to the area and only a handful of people have my number.) Sure enough, it was the employee from LA fitness who had previously asked me on a date. I dont think LA Fitness did anything about it as I never heard from them again. This is so scary to know he could just get my number and even my address...
