Boycott Title

Boycott Chase Bank

Boycott Description

I want to urge everyone to boycott JPMorgan Chase following their public admission to defrauding thousands of American servicemen and their families. In testimony before Congress, JPMorgan Chase officials admitted to overcharging mortgage interest to thousands of servicement serving in Iraq and Afghanistan in violation of federal law.

It has also come to light that the nation's second largest bank served as the principal bank for Bernie Madoff's Ponzi scheme that cost investors billions of dollars. In recent days, Madoff has said that officials with the bank were aware of his Ponzi scheme but to took action to protect investors.

JPMorgan Chase received TARP funds from the American taxpayers of $25,000,000,000. They repay the genorosity of the taxpayers by cheated GIs in combat and illegally foreclosing on military families. The bank that was judged "too big to fail" is also too immoral to continue business.

Boycott Demands

I urge all veterans, active duty servicemen and woman and taxpayers to withdraw their investments with JPMorgan Chase immediately.

Give me back my money!

I've been with Chase since 2003 (formerly BankOne).

I'm am a non US citizen and opened the account sinceI was frequently visiting America. I'm not a US resident and now they won't give me my money back! Instead they are deducting fees and inactivity charges (without forewarning me). Soon there will be no money left in the account.

In any other country this would be called theft. Even in China and Russia they have more respect for customers. Land of the free? more like land of the thieving.

Biggest bunch of (b)ankers I've come across in all of the countries I've worked/be resident.

protect tenants against foreclosure

jp morgan chase foreclosed on the apartment building we lived in for over 9 years. we paid our rent every month . on may 17,2011 a server came with foreclosure papers for us the same day the slumlord was served. now his loan was over 138,000 in jan of 2008, in march of 2010 he owed 135,808. he paid only 3,100 in 3 and a half years. yet every 3rd he was knocking on the door for his rent. he told the bank or whom ever we were the only tenants that lived in the building. when i reality all 4 apartments were rented. the server kept saying no that only one apartment was rented luckily another tenant happend to come and said the same thing we said they all were rented. we paid him over 30,000 in 3 and a half years. and he really screwed us. and chase should have atleast notified that he was in default and could go into foreclosure . he certainly wasn't going to tell all he wanted was his rent. he denied it even after we got the papers.

chase is anti small business - 8/14/11 9:55 AM

chase is anti small business

There you go again Ms. Miller, throwing your weight around.  I sent my request to someone in Chase Bank that I thought could help with my problem; and after a very nice, understanding reply, they send me back to you!  I have my industrial building with about $500,000-600,000 in equity up for sale. I have asked you to defer my monthly payment of around $5,000 per month for a few months till the building is sold . you , as the mortgage holder , will get your money plus interest and in doing so , will help a small business survive these tough times . But you sent the attached letter .  I can not give you $9000 a month and I can not start in September. Unfortunately ABC did not read my complaint about Chase and specifically you, but there are others.  I have said this before but will say it again, one more time. My building is up for sale at $1,300,000. I owe you under $800,000; since you are the mortgage holder (whether you agree with that decision to get it from Washington Mutual or not)  you will get your money first, come hell or high water. Why don’t you answer my question when I ask "with this in mind, what is your problem?” Why don’t you help a small business that is trying to save 13-14 jobs and hopefully hire more?   Your employer advertises that it basically loves small business. Is this helping small business? I am a mechanical engineer, not a finance guy, but you do not make sense. Chase has no risk involved in my proposal, none, zero. So why don’t you want to help? I just do not understand Chase Bank. As you will see, I am going to pursue this matter with your higher ups. By way of this letter, I will ask my US Senators and Congressmen to help me get an answer as to why are you trying to foreclose on my building when all you have to do is wait until October when I will be able to start paying you the monthly mortgage payment if the building has not been sold by then. As soon as it is sold you will get all your money, including for a few months of non payment on my part, plus interest.   As per the attached letter, I put my building up for sale late 2009. The letter indicates that in 2009, $1,800,000 asking price was very reasonable. Two weeks ago, I told my new realtor that I will take $1,300,000. That is $500,000 below what it was two years ago, and $600,000 below 4 years ago.  Don’t you have any feelings for what has happened to my small business which has also been clobbered by Chinese imports for the past 7 years? Or is this part of a scheme for Chase to get a building way below market? Are you instructed to do this? Luckily, and no thanks to any bank,  U.S. manufactured products are becoming in demand again, and our customer base has  already increased  by 35 % just in the past month due to the fact that all our 49  products are manufactured  in USA. We also supply several blind and handicap shops throughout America with our writing instrument components. They, in turn, assemble, package and sell the pens to their respective states and federal government. It’s a way for the disadvantaged people to feel good about themselves by going to work.  I am sure they will also be appreciative of your hard nose attitude when they lose their jobs.  So if you want to close another small manufacturing company, go ahead. I will just try to find out what your problem is with my proposal, not withstanding your dislike of it.

Thieving bastards - 6/22/11 10:06 AM

Thieving bastards

Here's yet another reason to boycott the thieves at JP Morgan Chase. Yesterday, the bank agreed to pay a $153 MILLION fine to the Dept. of Justice to reimburse investors that were misled by Chase officials peddling mortgage-backed securities. This comes months after it was revealed in congressional testimony that the bank illegally foreclosed on the homes of GIs serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.

This bank isn't too big to fail. It's too immoral to live. It's time investors moved their funds to a bank that operates morally.

Jamie Dimon CEO JP MORGAN - 2/21/11 6:57 AM

Jamie Dimon CEO JP MORGAN

JP Morgan Chase has one major problem. That is the direction an attitude of the CEO Jamie Dimon. This guy beleives that he can do no wrong. CHAS WILL FALL!!! mark my words. From knwingly being invlvolved in the Madoff Ponzi Scheme, to screwing our servicemen/woman. they claim they "care and want to help people stay in their houses. that is a direct LIE. NACA is an organization that mediate between the home owner and the servicer or lender. At the Direction of the schmuck at the top they no longer participate with NACA. Jamie Dimon is so arrogant the he publicly announced that if any bank should fail we should not bail them out but let them dissolve. This comes from an arrogant schmuck that has already received billions in tarp as well as 16milliom bonus this year at total package of 17million during the housing bubble in 2007. Peaple that have any chase credit card or accounts need to take their money and go to a C/U. JP Morgan Chase its CEOand its personnel could care less about the American People. Jamie Dimon should be investigated by SEC and FTC. This bank needs to go down and take Schmucks like Jamie Dimon with it.
