Boycott of Hotmail

my hotmail account is deleted without notify me, it says some one else using it. No one using it, its all fake, they just simply delete my account.

i gave my phone number to recover my account, they sent security code to my cell phone, but its all fake, none works. Its fake and fraud company.

The lack of customer service is staggering. My account was blocked by Microsoft even though there was no evidence of misuse. I was in the middle of something at the time. It has been over a week already and no action from Microsoft. The level of incompetence is jaw dropping. Just because it is a free service doesn't preclude them from providing customer service. If they want to cull the nmbers of people using Hotmail then they should at least give you warning so you can save your important mail elsewhere. I have a legal case coming up and they have blocked me from all my communication. Way to go Microsoft!

I was "told" I was "hacked" or that someone was u sing my  hotmail/msn email account. I saw no evidance of this at all and have excellentprotecive software. I DON'T believe them.

MSN has STOLEN my personal information, saved emails that I NEED and is causing me miss much needed communication that I cannot get to as we speak. They are violating my rights. They are blocking me from retrieving my personal files.

They have run me around and told me my Information was not enough to verify me as owner. With short term memory losss I can't remember who I email from their. I have 3 other email accounts I use for different purposes.

I NEED THE INFO FROM MY MSN HOTMAIL ACCOUNT. As far as I am concerned they are keeping me from retrieving my property and that is not legal in my book. I'm really mad. It has been a week now. I have cu stomers that will be very angry that I have not answered them and God knows what else.

I was actually in tears tonight when I got another denial of access from them jerks. Nobody hacked me unless it was MSN themselves and I see it is mostly happening to free hotmail accounts.  Yah right!

I so agree. I have had hotmail for over 6 years and it was hacked the other day. It's so hard to get anybody on the phone and when I finally did i was told they could clean it up for $100. I told them no way, they were supposed to block my account and after 15 days it would be deactivated then after 45 days it would be closed.  I think this is crazy someone else is in my account and they cant even clear it out!!! Im now dealing with G-mail.

I am ready to stop using hotmail. I have had problems since october. It is now almost February.

I have been hacked. Spam is continually sent from my hotmail account to everyone I used to email. I am now blocked by all my friends - those that don't have this problem too.

New messages for password resets never arrive in my inboc.

I have changed my password at least 20 or 30 times.

I have scanned and rescanned my computers with reliable brand name virus and spyware software. I have used Kaspersky, Superantispyware, Avast, Bell Sympatic (AVG), Microsoft Security and Hijack This - several times. I DON T have any virus on my computers

HOTMAIL's Servers MUST HAVE THE VIRUS.

I have surfed techwebs and technet sites and have done everything they all say and I still have an unusable email, livemail problem .

New accounts don't solve the problem. It gets imported with your contacts and when you create a new account to get passwords and confirmations for your broken account.

I AM FED UP. IT IS TIME TO BOYCOTT HOTMAIL AND LIVE MAIL UNTIL THEY SOLVE THE PROBLEM.(October thru January is a long time to have a problem that can't be fixed).

Do hotmail have n office staffed by humans?  this site is the first insication that they do even if calls answered by voice mail. I had a problem with my account two years ago,and hotmail fixed it, but did not bother informing me they had done so,till i discovered it myself. Now I am told my password is invalid, and my attempts to follow their procedures,have produced nothing,and cant ask them a question or abuse them,because i dont have password.

Opened new account with g mail, who say can get access to my files and transport them.I have not asked them to do that yet,but if they can,then why the hell cant i the owner get them, as presumably they will bypass the password to get them

Has anyone thought about getting an attorney involved to retrive their hotmail account information or contacting hotmails non-insistance customer service?

WINDOWS LIVE SHOULD ALSO BE INCLUDED IN THAT BAN/BOYCOTT.

THE HOTMAIL PROVIDER SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THE DAMAGE THEY HAVE CAUSED TO SO MANY PEOPLES LIVES WITH THERE INCOMPETENCE AND LACK OF RESOLVE TO THE MANY USERS OF THEIR SERVICE. THEY SHOULD BE PUBLICLY TAKEN TO TASK AND MADE TO ANSWER FOR THERE LACK OF COMMITTMENT AND LACK OF COMMUNICATION/RESPONSE TO THE HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE THAT SIGNED UP TO USE THERE SERVICE. I SAY BOYCOTT THEM.
