Purchased Gateway 17" Laptop from HSN, deciding because of specific features. USB 3.0 port mandatory. Received with NO 3.0 port. Called HSN's Gateway service number. "Tech" said that it would have to be sent in to change the mother board because he agreed that it was in the specification. Given drop off location 90 mile trip. Paid shipping locallly which saved 2 1/2 hours of travel.
Received back untouched. Called again. Demanded escalation and talked to Level 2 Techniocal support. They said TOUGH DARTS.
A company with NO integrity. HSN, to their credit, took it back...but they still sell Gateways.
Will NEVER BUY ACER-GATEWAY PRODUCTS THE REST OF MY LIFE.
