Boycott Description

Gamfly has been slow on sending games to me about a week and they have hidden fees. Also they dont send the games you want they pick and choose whats available and whats not.

Boycott Demands

I would like the hidden fees to appear on the application. I also would like my games to arrive quicker just like netflix(2 days max and you get your movie). i also would like the games i want and not whats available to be delieverd.

THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD, I CANNOT BELIEVE I FELL FOR THEIR TV ADVERTISEMENT. THEY ADVERTISE A "FREE" 30 DAY TRIAL FOR ONE GAME. JUST AS SOON AS I DID THAT...THEY ASK FOR CREDIT CARD INFO....AND WITHIN SECONDS THEY CHARGE $15.95 FOR THE MONTHLY RENTAL FEE. THIS IS NOT A COMPANY THAT I WOULD TRUST, THEREFORE I WARN YOU ALL! I JUST ORDERED THIS ON A HOLIDAY WEEKEND....HORRIBLE...NOW I PROB WON'T BE REFUNDED FOR WEEKS!

I was charged for "damage" to a game that worked perfectly for me. After I was forced to pay for it, they wont even send me the disk after multiple attempts to reach them. There is no phone contact, emails are not returned. I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint and then got an email.

I think this company is all around bad and they are lazy. they make it almost immpossible for you to reach their custome service dept becaue they do not want to handle business like they should and they are very slow on deliveryof their games that is why I went with blockbuster because you can go in store or have them mailed to you which I think is neat and they are cheaper and it includes movies and games.

We just found out we were charged after cancelling last month. We cancelled well in advance of the due date, and even got a confimation of cancellation email. Great way to do business.

Maybe you had bad service because it was Gamyfly and not Gamefly you had. lol Like for real a public boycott and you mispell the name of the company. Good one.

 I have had gamefly for 9 months and am impressed with their service. The other guy hit it on the head if ya kow how to work the system ur good. number one a single game plan isn't worth it. a two game one is perfect to stop the frustration. You have one game while waiting for the other. Also gamefly tells you flat out how they work.  Read the website if your far form their shipping center it takes time. Just look at the map to see where you are close to before buying. Yeah it is only as fast as your mail. They do not implement a mail scan in system like netflix of whose movies get scanned by the usps when they get them to the routing center.  So your good but sorry for the usps be mad at them and happy playing. P.S. I mean you get coupons and %'s of items and can trade in games when you can't pay your bill. I just got 9.00 towards my bill. Awesome.

I had bought gamefly about 2 weeks ago the shipping is a hassel cuz itstakes so long and on to the main point of this... gamefly charged metwo hidden fees after the normal $15.95 they then charged me a $7.00 fee and a $22.95 fee that i have no idea what is from. A month hasent even gone by and they charged me for a two-game out rental withen two weeks of the first month and i only bought the one-game rental. and the $7.00 one i have no idea i came on to my bill a little while after i sent in a game. I dont know whats going on but i sure know that im canceling this service!

With the new fast return service, I sent a game out yesterday and it's in the mail to me today. I just received a game today when I returned the other one out the day before. If you know how to work the system, and load your queue down, you usually get them in a few days.

I've used gamefly since they first came about. I've had maybe one problem in all this time. A game got lost in the mail, so I told them about it and they straightened it out. A lot of people think they just "find" the games that get lost. No, they have tracking numbers on their packages and when they "find" a game, they mean they located it in the usps system. If you lose a sleeve, you are supposed to tell them. They have barcodes, so they can't scan two games on one barcode. They don't have a "vip" system they have a system which shows you your chances at getting it. If it's not in their stock, and already rented by someone else, you obviously won't get it. If it's available now then you will get it, if it's high then you most likely will. If you asked for new games on your queue and loaded your list with low availability games, don't be surprised when all you get is the p.o.s. you threw on their at the bottom because the other ones weren't available. If you want it early, you have to get lucky. It's as simple as that. Personally, I don't put anything with below a medium availability on my list, unless I have a bunch of high ones and throw the low one on the top. Sometimes I get the low availability ones tat I threw to the top with luck, and sometimes I get the next "available now". Learn how to use the system before you complain. The actual "I got screwed messages" that aren't the person just screwing up, are almost non existent because of how rare they are.

Their shipping and receiving methods suck!  I ship games back to them, they get them in 3-4 days (according to the post office), take at least a whole business day to "receive" them, then another day or 2 to send the next one out.  This time I've gone over a week without a game.  It took them 2 days to in process my last game I sent them, and 2 more days to mail the next one out.  Pathetic shipping/receiving methods.  Been trying to 2 days to talk to an actual person from the 888#.....

The trial time was good and fast shipment on almost all games till almost less then a week left of the trial. At first, games took only 2 days to ship and return was 1-2 days and all games are shipped from an in state location. Last game to rent in trial membership took 3-4 days to return and then game in Q was shown shipped and took another 3-4 days to get.

I feel like they do this to string out your monthly  memberships to try and make sure you stay with them.

My first 13 days into the non trial membership and suddenly the games are hard to get and no games shipped till almost 2 weeks after my non-trial membership starts I had 6 (3 old crap games) sitting in my game Q and finely one game shows shipped on March 11 and today is the 13 and still no game so I will not get the game till the 15....if lucky. Not even gonna play the game just going to ship it back and cancel my service with gamefly.

Hope this is a warning to anyone looking to start a new membership with them.

My games i have out has been empty for 3 days now!!!It says "add some games so we can ship you a new one" I have 9 games in my Q. After they finally ship me a game I still have to waite AT LEAST 4 days for it to get here from one state away!!! When you pay by the month 2 weeks is a very long time to waite for a game.GAME FLY SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
