Boycott of Electronic Arts

I purchased this game, I have the e-mail with my serial number. I put in the redeem code after some IT gus fixed my OS, and it said my serial code had been used by another computer already. It's the same computer! BS! I should be flying a gunship online right now! 

This site needs to be boycotted as they continually support/ignore/allow cyberbullying on their site.

A friend of mine has recently been banned, had his club membership stripped, because of a "clique" of people who have been incessantly harassing/verbally abusing/bullying and even stalking him for months now. Many, many reports of abuse to the Pogo/EA administrators have been ignored. They have allowed this group of people to continue with these attacks unabated. In the past few days, they finally had him banned and his membership stripped, when he tried to defend against these attacks!

Now that they have been successful in geting this first person banished from Pogo, they have been empowered and this same group of people is now targeting a 2nd person on their list of players they are trying to get banned from the Pogo website.

The above group mentioned "live" in the 40's rooms - so don't think this mentality only happens to children on line. I have personally seen it in every age grouping rooms on the Pogo site.

Many, many rooms on the Pogo.com website are similar in allowing this type of cyberbullying. And this is what you pay for in your membership? Think very, very carefully before giving POGO.COM/EA Arts another dime of your very hard earned cash!

This site is supposed to be child/family friendly, but these vicious bullying attacks are allowed to go on in an age group, any room (whether it be a censored room or not) without Pogo/EA having any policy or stepping in to prevent it. Do you really want to subject yourself (or your child) to a website that is supposed to be fun but instead does not prevent cyberbullying?

In addition, the Pogo/EA administrators also allow other players to publish your personal info (phone numbers, addresses, personal email) into any game chat box without consequence to the player who publishes it.

There are many other gaming websites, both paid and free. YOUR SMARTEST CHOICE WOULD BE ANY OTHER OTHER WEBSITE THAN POGO/EA ARTS.

So i bought deadspace 2 specail edition and my xbox broke. so i swapped my hardrive on to a new xbox that had my dlc on it and bam it wont let me play deadspace beacouse it says this xbox is not permitted to acces this data. Wich is bs becouse i paid for the dam data wtf does it matter whos xbox its on its not like i was trying to get dlc on someone elses profile.

short story-I got hacked, the hacker(s) must have harassed people using my screen name- I finally got my acct. back and then one of the upper big wigs put a ban on my account with no explanation-  and, can you believe this, I was told that this big wig doesn't accept phone calls or emails - what customer service!

 Purchased copy of Medal of Honor on 11-13-10, and during game installation of online update-version received message, "Corrupted Data Found". PS3 shut down and had to be restarted. Attempted to delete corrupted data, and disconnected from internet. Installed Medal of Honor, but was unable to play single-player campaign.

 Contacted EA, and went through weeks of trouble-shooting with no results, only to have my PS3 completely fail. Corrupted Data prevented any attempt to Back-Up or Transfer any game/save data, All Games. Copied what Game Saves I could, and did a Full System Restore. Lost all Copy-Prohibited Save Data. EA denies all responsibility, and blames Sony instead. After Restore, installed Medal of Honor while disconnected from the internet. Played through first few missions of the Single-Player Campaign, and the game worked fine, minor glitches. Connected to the internet, and completed install of Update-Version. Again, received message "Corrupted Data Found", and game shut down.

 Whatever data is being transferred during the Update has damaged my PS3 to the point that it affects all games played on my PS3, and I now have to purchase another. I don't have that kind of money lying around, and I definitely won't be spending it on any EA Products. Let them rot. Maybe if they remember that it is the customer that keeps them in business, they make an attempt to correct these problems, and regain our trust and support.

Since Nov 12 I have been trying to get EA to fix my profile on thesims3.com, there neverending letters on how to tech the game tells me tier three is useless! Even after sending screen shots to them, explaining, calling, they have done nothing. I have money on that site and things I have bought I can not access and they have done nothing! I am sick to death of copy and paste. I am so tired of EA I am reporting them to Better Business as they have my money, gifts that where sent to me, and all the things I bought and will do nothing to solve the problem on thesims3.com I would not buy from them again if I was paid! I love the sims but hate EA has it, I am so tired of this run around and no help in site!

The worst problem with this company is its failure to communicate with the customer and answer questions. I had requested that my subscription not be renewed this year and they did it anyway.  I have contacted my credit card carrier and placed a dispute so they will go after a refund.  I kept copies of all the emails I sent to the "Customer Service" dept., so I have back up.  Another poor system is not alerting the customers that it is time to renew and the fee will be charged to the card on record.  Most reputable companies do this as a courtesy with a 7-10 day alert,  Ancestry.com is the best at this.

Hope others don't have to spend (waste) so much time.  The clue was that when I called the 866 number and wanted to speak to a human being I was told there would be a 20 minute wait.  This is unacceptable.  I intend to warn all the family and friends who like to play computer games that this is a company to AVOID !!!!!!!
