Several years ago, after falling a month behind on my payments, due to financial mistakes that Christmas (something I take complete responsibility for), Comcast didn't just turn off my service, they CONTINUED to charge me for 2 additional months, even tho I had no equipment belonging to them. i payed off what i DID owe them, but still constantly have debt collection agencies breathing down my neck. I just want this to stop. I REFUSE to pay them another dime.
Last night my audio service on my cable was changed from English to SPANISH!!! Why ?? Who knows?
I called for service and of course got connected to the Phillipines. The representative did not have a clue as to what to do.She just garbled a bunch of double talk and kept saying "butt mam" I was transferred three more times to to no avail. I have to pay for this GROSS LACK OF KNOWLEDGE and substandard service?
The last time I called about my ever increasing bill the representative turned my cable off in the middle of our conversation. it took two days to get it turned back on. No cable no phone either. No 911 access in case of an emergency!!! Some states mandate that 911 be available. I i the law in thos states. NBC/XFINITY/COMCAST or whatever they want to call themselves are a greedy company. People have got to complain and boycott. 98% of the representatives are rude and or can not speak fluent English. No supervisors are ever available. They are always BUSY!!
The last time that I had scheduled a service technician they did not show up twice. I guess that the third time was the charm. Do they or Xfinity care that someone has to be available to let them in the house. This requires times off from work and loss of pay. Does Xfinity care? NO,NO and NO!!
The tech said that he had NO idea what the problem was and had never seen the problem before. He refused to call a supervisor even though I requested a supervisor. He did change out the cable box and gave me one that he said they usually throw away, handed me 4 remotes that once again said that they usually throw away and left. This was all in less than 5 minutes. Quality care????? Don't think so. Probably logged a longer call and took break. Customers need to complain. This is the only way they the consumer will be heard. Has anyone Googled the salary of the CEO of Xfinity/Comast? You will be surprised if not astounded.
Xfinity is ripping off people. People who have the same packages are charged different prices for the same programming.Xfinnity FORCES us to watch commercials that they are paid to air and we have to pay to watch them.
Someone expain where the Franchice fees go? NO ONE seems to know. I made one call to try to find out and was referred to other numbers 14 times and even then no on e know the answer.
More people need to boycott some of the high revenue programs and sent a message to Xfinity/NBC.
People need to file petitions to allow themselves to choose what they want to watch and pay for instead of being forced to watch what they don't want to watch at an ever inflating cost. My bill had gone up5 times this year and is due to go up again as of the first of January 2016. If you do not want your phone or internet ---watch out you will be penalized finacially for that too in the way of higher costs. Boycott!!

If you really want to hurt Comcast, boycott this Sunday's Super Bowl. In addition to their crappy cable service and censoring of their internet, Comcast also owns NBC (which carries the Super Bowl this year). If enough people boycott the Super Bowl, the ratings will fall and Comcast will take a bigger financial hit than when they added an expletive to the name of one of their customers on a cable bill.

I agree, Comcast is an exceptionallly greedy company. They do not care about their customers simply because, at least in my area, they hold a monolopy.
I have been with them for years and they still treat me with contempt whenever I dare complain about the rising costs of their mindmelting TV service.
I have a simple solution which I intend to implement shortly.
Buy a good antenna and put it up, end of story. Sure you get less channels but maybe, just maby thats a good thing. Spend time with friends, read more. If even 25% of Comcasts cable TV suckers did this I bet they would take notice and [possibly change for the better.
Internet is another story. Comcast is the best in my area and I find teh internet much more necesaary in this day and age than the bloddy boob tube.

The interactive guide was working fine could record multiple channels and then they allegedly fixed it. It would only record two channels at once then u had to watch one of them and the pic in pic was disabled they never fixed or addressed I do not believe they beta tested it before they rolled it outl. comcast has gotten to big to give a damn about their subscribers.
I recnetly moved form Houston to a city that doesnt have comcast (its the only way out of the contract). In my new place which has TIme Warner (like houston did years ago) my bill is only $93 a month thats with all channels and internet... With comcast i had tirple play with came to 195 a month. The only diference between the packages was the home phone service. If i ever move back to houston im ogin with Dish.
After 20 years, the final straw with Comcast came with their purchase of MSNBC and its continued promotion of every communist marxist idiology spewed from its endless line up of useful idiots. Their cable service itself sucked for a number of reasons; constant hikes in price for less service, constant mistakes and over-charges on billing after repeated calls to "customer service", followed by daily phone harassment from their billing department. All this and poor picture quality for less channels. Their 1980's cable service at 2011 prices was old and stale. We had it all shut off this summer, it was that bad.
This fall we hooked up to DIRECTV and fell in love with TV again! The picture quality vs Comcast is astonishing! Affordable HD, tons of good channels, and the whole house DVR is great and so easy to use. They do have an awesome intro special, but even at full price will feel we're getting our money's worth, and will still cost much less than Comcast. We're happy campers!
I hate comcast, I will boycott them, I will even get a dish, I just wish there was something else out there, why isn't there? because those jerks bought our loser government off and have their way. On Tuesday, I talked to Comcast and at 8888234280 and had a package set up forTriple Play Premium/Premier package for 159.00. By Jeff. He sent me over to a George who bundled a package with an extra HD DVR and 2 other HD boxes for a total of 168.95. conf.# 452518835. I went over this agreement at least 3 times before hanging up. The techs came in today and said they have the hddvr that comes with the package and the reg. converters, not the hd ones for the other 2 TVs. I talked on the phone with Kiasha, manager and she told me the two men will be "written up" but they will not honor the agreement. This is , in my viewpoint a "bait and switch" and I am angry that Comcast choses to treat customers this way. I refuse to use them until they act in a honest way and change their illegal practice.

Boycott Comcast! Comcast promised to provide my large Philadelphia (their hometown) apartment complex with a group discount (consortia rate) for subscribers as we switched from a HOA account with DirectTV to resident-initiated subscriptions. With nearly 500 apartments, Comcast chose to exploit us rather than work with us on package deals for basic cable and package deals. Can you imagine paying 75 bucks for basic cable and internet in this day-and-age. No wonder the cable companies rate so poorly in customer relations. And this is their home town! That's why when you drive thru the hood you see so many dishes on houses and apartments. Shame on Comcast! Lets work together to get them in line!
I agree with all the prior comments and want to add my own comment comcast has poor customer service and I feel that they take the concerns of there customers seriously my cable was off for 2 days other than some credit they claim they would deduct from my bill I could never get a straight answer on when my service would be restored just extended dates and times they hoped service would be restored by that really sounded more like guesses & random times

I had Comcast and they completely ripped me off, like a typical scammer you would meet on the street. I cancelled service, and kept the box. They stil lsent me a promo card and when I called them they said they refuse to stop sending mail soliciting new customers even though it was my house and I asked them not to. They said the only way they can stop sending mail was i fI became a customer. They TOLD ME my bill would be 109 dollars a month, when I got the bill they charged me for the free installation, for the box, the remote, the router, and other misc fees, and my bill was 230 dollars. I Was outraged, and they refused to acknowledge any of this. My bill was then 150 to 160 a month with all these extras surcharges fees line fees rental charges, etc the list keeps going.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE SCAMMERS! THEY ARE ABOVE THE LAW. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF BLIND AND THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT.
