something you people will never understand

im a boost customer, talked to boost reps before, sometimes were just too angry and we tend to speak fast but if we allow them to listen they are all very polite ,i worked as a customer rep before so i know, and you cant realy tell if they hang up on you, there are times that calls will get disconnected and another call will enter their system and they will not have chance to call you back, all you guys need to do is to be polite, what happens here is that you are being rude so they mirror that attitude, what i dont get here is you asking for human being while you cant even act like one, these people are just the unlucky persons assigned to answer your questions but in case you dont know they are not the one who are providing the poor service you are complaining about, they were only being inform like everyone else ,

and please dont expect someone to be nice if you cant be nice either

Horrible customer service

I was transferred from one person to another and I totally kept my cool except for breaking down in tears towards the end.  I'm 40 and I knew exactly what they were doing.  Wearing me out so they didn't have to give my money back.  I hate this company, we got a phone for my boyfriends daughter I am AT&T all the way, maybe expensive but worth it.  This company sucks horribly and my only wish is people would stop buying their product altogether.

ask yourself a question

When you call, are you short tempered and quick to yell at the Boost representative?

Think that might have something to do with how they're treating you? Maybe a direct reflection with how you're treatig them?

I'm just saying everytime I call I'm polite to them and they're polite to me. Try it, you might have better success.

Wasn't too bad for me

I just called Boost to get my account number because I'll be leaving soon and it wasn't THAT bad.

Yes, their phone system was a little complicated in finding the right buttons to press in order to get to speak to someone, but that only took like 5 minutes or so.

Then once I talked to someone, they were very polite and transferred me to another department that could give me my account number.

Once transfered, that person promptly gave me my account number and was also very polite.

Yes, I'm leaving Boost but it's only because I found a cheaper plan with a better phone elsewhere.

If I ever saw a reason to come back to Boost, I would. They have been good as far as I'm concerned.

WHAT A JOKE!!!!! takes forever getting a live person on the phone, its like a game of pressing random buttons and getting hung up on for 15 mins to get to a live person. Then those idiots no nothing, all I get is more probs and never issues fixed. I wasted 300 bucks on a boost mobile phone. I will be throwing phone and this garbage service of thiers in the trash soon.

AND THAT STUPID VOICE HAD THE AUDACITY TO TELL ME THAT IN ORDER TO RESTORE MY SERVICE I HAVE TO PAY -$25... HOW? EVEN THOUGH I ALREADY HAVE $25 IN CREDIT, THEY ASK ME TO SPEND $10-$100 TO RESTORE AN ACCOUNT THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN FREAKIN PAID.. im sueing you ppl. i believe i just got robbed.

I have been a customer of the sprint network, even before they were taken over by the brainless aliens at Sprint. in 1998 the company I dealt with was Nextel. I had no complaint with the service. It was pricy but I received service. After the take over with Sprint the service did not change until they decided that they were to going to upgrade from a 3G service to the 4G service. Now I have no problems with that. I want service. But service is the last thing I'm getting. I live inFort WashingtonMaryland. I'm 10 minutes away fromWashingtonDC. The service should be with out interruption. But leave it to the 3 stooges from Now Boost Mobile (I call them Fools Mobile) to f----up the service. Since March of this year (2012) I have no service at my home. If I want to make a phone call, I have to get in my car and drive about a mile and like magic I can use the unlimited service that they promise. Now you wonder if I had service before March. The answer is YES. With out interruptions of any kind. After talking to so many "talking heads" at "Fools Mobile" to be specific the "Save Desk" no permanent solution to my problem has been found as of yet. I'm told that the service is being upgraded to 4G with the new and improved CDMA service. They tell me that the towers are being replaced that the cell service is being upgraded, and on and on and on. I believe that we will see a transporter in every street corner before I receive those benefits of this illusive 4G service that they promise me. They lie like a cheating spouse. I have offered to get a real technician to get to the cell tower and permanently repair the cell and cell towers once and for all. I believe that Forest Gump could do a better job. I have been successful in getting my monthly service paid by unrelenting complaining. I believe that if they give you the 5 dollar discount every 6 months, that once you reach the "milestone” level of $35.00 that they will interrupt your service so you change your service. I no longer believe anything "Fools Mobile" tells me. I now keep the service so I can continue to get them to pay for monthly service. So continue to complaint and demand that they pay for the service that they are supposes to provide.

bOOSTMOBILE CHARGES YOU A FULL FEE FOR THE MONTH,THEN TURN YOUR PHONE OFF BEFORE THE NEXT MONTH. BOOSTMOBILE IS A THIEF WITH POOR HABITS. IT'S A SHAME SOCIETY ALLOWS AND ACCEPTS THIS FROM THEM. WHEN YOU PAY MONTHLY FEES YOU SHOULD RECEIVE A MONTHS WORTH OF SERVICES NOTHING LESS.  I WOULD LIKE TO CUSS BUT, IT WOULD TAKE TOO LONG TO WRITE ALL THE GRAPHIC NAMES THAT DESCRIBES BOOSTMOBILE SERVICES.

Really? Miracles do happen...

I'd like to leave a really sarcastic comment about how you must work for the company, but I won't.

Boost is nothing more than the prepaid version of Sprint with the same lousy "customer service"; the only difference is with Boost you're not given the option of talking with the lying POS scum-bag reps Sprint employs.

If Boost goes down, no one will wonder why.

Customer Referral Update

Believe it or not, two Boost Mobile emplyees from the Philippines from credited my wife and I the $40 we were owed early this afternoon. If it wasn't for these two women, who took a genuine interst in our case, we would have been out $40.  I have little to say good about customer service with Boost Mobile here in the U.S. or the Dominican Republic.  But, for the most part, the Filipinos are more polite, knowledgeable, and helpful than anyone else I've found at either Sprint or Boost Mobile.

Remember:  Buyer Beware.  Do your business with Boost Mobile on either Saturday or Sunday, or late at night if you want to go with Boost Mobile; then you'll have a better chance of being connected to the Boost Mobile team in the Philippines.  They do try harder to resolve issues than the American or Caribbean teams.

In all fairness to the readers, I had to update my last post. But, all in all, our experience with Boost Mobile has been difficult, painful, and time-consuming in order to obtain a legitimate credit.  Thank goodness for these two Filipinas.

Customer Referral Program

I spent a good portion of my day having my calls dropped, and experiencing some ugle representatives from Boost Mobile arguing my wife and I should NOT  get credited for the Customer Referral Program -- even though we've been Sprint/Boost customers for eight years, and we jumped through every behavioral ring we could,  Their customer referral program is a very deceptive form of advertisement.  We got no credit whatsoever.  They claim this program is not for everybody, but only a select group radomly picked.   It's really just a dirty trick, becuse it sure doesn't say anything like that on their web site.  Buyer Beware.  I just hope you have better luck than my wife and I have had with the program.  I won't refer anyone else to them.  That's for sure.  Grrr!

I wouldn't recomment boost mobile to a dog - these people are supposed to be a communication company but they practice poor communications. They try to demand that you subscribe to a monthly plan when the whole idea of a pre-paid card is to as what you want and move on without a contract. I have had better service from my contract company and oh yea I could understand what they said because they were not in India. I will not give Boost moblie another penny and it would be very satisfying if they went out of business, It wouldn't be the first time a company went out of business because of their poor coustomer relations and Boost mobile's day is comming...none too soon for me.

Nothings Perfect

I'm to the Boost experience. Everybody has a timing issue, responses.  Tech assist is always a crap shoot.  The later the day goes, the first string/day shift is off, and the service tends to diminish. Considering the cost of the service, a few hiccups should get better.  Over the years I've dealt with the big boys on the block, and they have been no shining star, and charge ton.  As a newbee, I'm cutting them some slack.  Folks get a life, and stop being so needy over a phone, for $50 and access to multi media, give me a break.

Terrible Payment Process

Along with it being very difficult to speak to a support rep. I have problems with my payment every single month. I signed up for auto reboost but as happens sometimes I  don't have enough money in my account so I make a cash payment before my due date. The boost system never acknowledges the payments, so every month I have to call support and advise them I already made a payment. It is torture trying to get through the auto attendant to speak to a live person. I am searching for a new service provider that has low rates and great tech support and automatic systemwide payment history updates.

customer service issue

uhm yeah customer service sucks there should be a better source of live customer service access.  They just have you going around in circles instead of just putting you thru a live person to begin with who can better answer any questions you may have.  I know times are hard & maybe the company itself does not want 2 pay anyone to answer phones when a machine can probably do the job but obviously it's not working if not you wouldn't have this issue of complaints...so if I were u I'd  get with the times & save your co. from further destruction...just an advice get more cust. service reps to do the job and do it right where obviously machines can't.

4 digit pin code - 6/1/11 5:31 AM

4 digit pin code

Unbelievable!  I cannot remember my pin code, and cannot have one texted to me because the phone I had, is broken, and I just received my new phone through insurance, which I am trying to activate but, you fs are making it impossible for me to do so.  On top of it, I don't understand why the f you people don't automatically transfer long term customer accounts, to the new shrinkage plan?  What the f is your peoples deal?  As if, people don't want to save money?  I have asked your representatives this same question, and the fr had the nerve to say, that the customers don't want to have their account changed to a shrinkage plan.  What a LIAR!!!  I am so sick of your customer service that I am about to switch my service to a company that understands what real customer service is all about!!!  Not no, fn automated service, that quickly hangs up on the customer, that needs assistance!  Your company is going to go out of business, with customer service as it is. Go to hell you fs!!!  Not even bank accounts, are as stupid as requiring a 4 digit pin code, above all other forms of security questions!!  There needs to be more than one way of requesting personal info that enables YOU, to assist a customer, besides a fn pin code, that can only be texted, and not even e-mailed?  Or, any other options for that matter.  Customer service is all about providing options, not hanging up on the customer that pays your fn paychecks!!! You fs!   This is a copy of a message I had just sent them.  If you do not have the 4 digit pin code, No 1 at BOOSTMOBILE will help you, and they don't ask you any other questions, to verify the customer.  Even Banks have numorous security questions, to ask, in order to assist the customer, and this idiotic cell phone company has only 1 form of I.D. question to ask?  The worst customer service of them all, even the automated service is quick to hang up on you!!!  How rude!  The rudest automated service I have ever encountered in my life.  I cannot even have the pin code e-mailed to me.  Texting it, is not an option, as the phone that was activated is broken, Blackberry 8550 which went haywire on me, for no good reason.  Did not get it wet, nor have I dropped it, only 3 months old, or less.

I hate Boostmobile, and I am about to switch carriers, even if it costs me more, to get better customer service.  Even the employees and supervisors, will hang up on you, without being irate.

Boost Customer Service Is Excellent

I have had Fone, Straight Talk, Net10, Tracfone, Virgin Mobile and Boost ALL in the last 2 years.

The NUMBER 1 WROST for signal, cost, service, customer service, over-all etc. etc. etc. has to be Straight Talk.

Virgin Mobile

The Other Brands.

With Boost as the Best for EVERY THING--but there is a secret to getting the rep on the line without going through hoops of flaming hot poo--and it is......drum roll please..........

Enter 00 (zero zero) or say Operator -- do not do or say anything thing else and you should be transferred

however when the wait time seems a bit much for me say 20+ minutes...I will then hang up redial and go to / ask for billing -- ALWAYS a live person there -- they want their money!

Then I simply tell them that there wasn’t a choice for live person and I figured I'd reach one there.

The only time I ever had problems was when speaking with a certain male graveyard shift worker—he was extremely rude to me—scolding me as if I was his child. I had him spell me his name & his worker ID number, when I then asked to be transferred to his supervisor, and a second time then demanded it—he hung up on me.

I called back went to billing—requested a supervisor for the operators—waited about 90seconds for one—he “knew” all about it he stated—but upon hearing “my” side—he went and found conversation tape—listened, put the operator back on and he had to apologize or be fired on the spot. I ALSO received credit for a month, several free games and ringtones.

I HAVE NEVER HAD SPOTTY, BAD OR NO SIGNIAL WITH BOOST—IN THE DIFFICULT RECEPTION AREA I LIVE IN—ALL OTHER COMPAINS DO—including all available regular monthly bill phones

I am going back to Boost now because Virgin Mobile just doesn’t live up to their claims.

their customer service repz are outsourced. That's why they are so rude.

I've had several problems with my I776 , as it was decided by the powers that be, that we have phones that are outdated so everyone is switching to wireless chips and no longer using the ones in the I776. So after that phone went to hell, I had several chats with these so called customer service representatives. The reason that they are so rude is because most of them are in other countries, other than the United States, where I'm assuming that most of you guys are complaining are from. So 1. they most likely already hate Amereicans 2.the only reason that they seek your business is because Americans are high ranking customer paying customers.3.)They know that Americans want the best deal, and think that you won't give a hoot as long as you get the cheapest payment, and that includes outsourcing your jobs to piss poor countries that hate you and work long, grueling hours for little pay. If you don't like Boost mobile so much, hit them where it hurts the most, their wallet. I reccomed anyone on this planet not to use BOOST MOBILE and make them PAY for their so called customer service. What a joke!

The Suck-key-ess

I have never had, and I have had some bad customer service experience, but BOOST is by far the very worse.  As prior commenters state, can't get through that prompt nightmare and when you get a representative they don't have a clue what they're going.  The woman I was virtually screeming by the time I reached her -- I heard her giggle at my level of frustration -- the nerve of the "bimbo" wonder what they're paying her?  That's probably the real joke you bleating idiot.

I purchased this phone for my grandson in school in another state and it is supposed to auto-reboost and every month they cut his phone off.  Well I close with you get what you pay for.  I'm switching my G-son to a regular service and bite the bullet.

Incompetent or intgentional either way they suck

I have been dealing with boost for about a year and have several phnes with them on atomatic pay schedule. We have provided them a credit card for this purpose but it seems that every other month oyur phones are shut down for none payment and we have to gop thru the torchourous process of reactivation. This is nit an easy process since you cant gety anyone to talk to you and we you finally get a live person they are completly worthless as far as helping you thru the process. At this point I have concluded that they must be doing this on purpose to avoid the "shrinkage"  scam that they are using as bait. I would advise any business owner that brealies on comunication top shop else where.

What customer service?? Are you referring to the myriad of options on the automated customer service, or the text version buried deeply on their rediculously inadequate web site. In order to leave Boostmobile and port your phone number, you MUST know your account number. I defy anyone to find the account number anywhere on your MYACCOUNT page (hint: it's not your telephone number). The account number is not on the phone itself hidden on an info tab. NO, you MUST call and get the account number from an accual human being!!! Good luck, and may the farce be with you.
