Purchased the Acer Aspire E5-553G-1986 from newegg for 479.98 on a Black-Friday special and now I know the hardware was too good to be true for the money.
not only does acer not have any real support, it's like having a one-sided conversation with an automated bot anyway so its a complete waste of time. Not to mention they want me to provide a box to ship it in so they'll not be liable for any damages unlike literally any other company that sends to a 'shipping kit' to return your gizmo safely and securely.
plus when i call support now and they refer my # they'll just tell me the call can't be completed and i'll have to call back under a different number with a new issue and deal with more horrible prepared customer support bots
