Boycott of ABC network

Bring back the soaps like knots landing.  Tired of reality shows. 

ABC Used to my one and only network i cant believe how you dont care about us.I am 37 and have watched the soaps and other shows for years.I have never liked talk shows or reality tv.It is a shame.

Is there any news about another station picking them up at all? I hate to give up hope!  I used to go to abcnetworksucks.com  but it says it will no longer be trying to save the soaps! Wonder what gives!

What is the use of ABC replacing All My Children and One Life To Live with a cooking and lifestyle show because of ratings. It's not like Chewlution will have loew ratings because everyone will be at work or they will turn to another network to watch another soap opera. Can ABC ever think, can they ever think at what they do. So people have to leave work just to watch a cooking and lifestyle show.

I am very upset that abc is threating the fans of these beloved soaps so disrespetful, what are you thinking abc. We the thousands of fans are what makes these soaps so popular. We do not need anymore reality shows or cooking shows we have enough of them. We need the fantasy world of these soaps, we need an escape from realitry for a few houurs in the day. We need our soaps. PLEASE SAVE OUR SOAPS.

This is a great idea.  I am so disappointed with ABC that they would screw their loyal viewers......so the loyal viewers will screw them.  How could they offer such crappy shows and make us give up our soaps?

What is ABC thinking. I have watched these soaps since I was a little girl. This has upset me greatly. ABC change your mind!!!

I want AMC. I will never watch ABC unless they rescind their cancellation of AMC.

We are so upset over this we don't need cooking or talk shows. I will no longer watch Abc and I speak for many many people.I think abc did us all avery injustice! I can only hope that if they don't change there mind that there is so many channels now that someone will pick it up.

We don't need to throw away a true part of America. I can see all the cooking, reality shows I want to from morning til' night. I have all the cookbooks I need and cooking isn't my #1 interest or watching all the "craz'ies" on the reality shows. I will not watch any new show on ABC. Taking our Soaps is like dropping the Atom Bomb on us. NOW... that is the truth... not your so-called surveys or studies... which I am sure wasn't done!!!!!

Shouldn't we tell the sponsors that we will boycott them AFTER September if shows are cancelled? They are paying money to ABC now and if ABC loses more money they might just pull the soaps sooner than we expect! Oh, don't get me wrong! I'm really grateful that HOOVER is supporting us on this but don't want it to back fire on us!

Hoover has pulled their adds from ABC network in support of our crusade to keep our soaps on! Thank you Hoover! We need to contact more sponsors! Does anyone have a link of the sponsors of ABC? If so, please post.

I will definitely boycott ABC if these shows do not remain on the air!  What were you thinking!!!!! You need to fire you're program director.  Noone needs another Food or Lyfestyle program..  Get real.

Come on ABC, get your head out of your butt before its too late.  There is not ONE SINGLE person who will watch these lastest, regurgitated reality shows.  I will stop watching ABC altogether if you go thruogh with this stupidity.  REALLY.  You wanna see people cooking go to the food network.

ABC network really stinks!  You dont have programs worth watching now ,except AMC and OLTL. Just what we need is another show to tell us what to eat or not.   When these go I won't need to ever have your network in my tv line up!!  Hopefully SoapNet will pick up these two great shows keeping these great actors working as so many people have loss their jobs.

This is the dumbest thing ABC could do - AMC and OLTL are the ONLY two shows I ever watched and now there is NO REASON to watch the network!  This is like losing a member of my family - and ABC will never, ever, get the same kind of loyalty from yet another reality show about food and weight lose -and all because of The View - I hate that show - it is the dumbest show and is emabarassing to the females every where - the women are air heads and even Barbara Walters lost my respect because she is on it.  What a stupid show and what an even dumber thing to do ........do it ABC - and you are killing yourself......STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!!

The momment that OLTL ends will be the end of me watching ANYTHING daytime or primetime on ABC and I will boycott all sponsers that allowed this to happen. 

If ABC kills AMC......ABC is DEAD to me!!!!  I've watched this show since the beginning.  I used to tape it with the VCR when I was at work and have been watching it online at ABC.com since they included it at their site.  I will not watch ABC again once AMC is cancelled and I have already started boycotting all other shows.  I WILL NEVER WATCH ABC AGAIN!!!

I seen on a message board where someone wrote "Fire The Dopes and Save Our Soaps". That should be our motto!

I will not support any idiotic replacement Frons has planned for the soaps time slot. I want AMC to stay. Fire Frons and his writers and hire writers and execs who know what they are doing. BrianFrons is nothing more than a ale chauvinist and pervert. Fire him before it's too late ABC! He will be the downfall of daytime tv!

This goes double for buying their sponsors products.  ABC doesn't care about its viewers, so now I don't care about ABC.  AG
